Created and developed in 1893 and introduced as Brad's Drink, it was renamed as Pepsi-Cola on August 28, 1898, then to Pepsi in 1961Pepsi was first introduced as "Brad's Drink" in New Bern, North Carolina, United States, in 1893 by Caleb Bradham, who made it at his drugstore where the drink was sold. It was later labeled Pepsi Cola, named after the digestive enzyme pepsin and kola nuts used in the recipe. In 1909, automobile race pioneer Barney Oldfield was the first celebrity to endorse Pepsi-Cola, describing it as "A bully drink...refreshing, invigorating, a fine bracer before a race." The advertising theme "Delicious and Healthful" was then used over the next two decades. In 1926, Pepsi received its first logo redesign since the original design of 1905On three separate occasions between 1922 and 1933, The Coca-Cola Company was offered the opportunity to purchase the Pepsi-Cola company, and it declined on each occasion. The original trademark application for Pepsi-Cola was filed on September 23, 1902 with registration approved on June 16, 1903. Our expenditures for labor, ingredients, transportation and more all continue to rise. The cost of aluminum alone has increased dramatically since last year. Across our entire system however, we have been cutting overhead and re-engineering our manufacturing process in order to keep our prices competitive. It is our policy to limit any price increases to the retail trade to the lowest possible extent Providing Price & a Pepsi is also affordable for a normal person that can be afford ed. ANALYSES Pepsi is famous and favorite soft drink of every even but it is being more popular in youngster. But there is a though time competitors in a market with Pepsi is coca cola which is also most popular in all over the world. There is a big competition between Pepsi and coke. According to the market survey Pepsi is defeat it coke just by 2% it means that 52% lover of Pepsi is spread all over the world but there is also a big fan of coke all over the world it means that Pepsi have to introduce some thing new in a market. I think Pepsi has to introduce again juice in a market with various flavors. Pepsi introduce Tropicana into market wt*h is a popular in a market which is in only mango flavor. But we all know that all people have not same taste that kept in our mind being as a manufacturer Pepsi has to introduce again juice in a market with the old name TROPICAN but in different flavors like orange, strawberry, grapes and banana flavors which will be popular.
