Get ready for Pepper Street’s annual Christmas Exhibition, ready to meet all your Christmas needs and wants!

There are over 35 artists participating this year in this fantastic gift oriented Exhibition. Showcasing a wide range of work, handcrafted by South Australian artists, all works are of a high standard and affordable.

The work ranges from the beautiful Christmas Tree decorations by Carol Hunter and Kaylene Fleming to the hand crafted wooden bowls by experienced woodworker Ron Allen. The sought after vintage fabric bags by Lyn Schubert with their popular designs and fabrics will also be available.

There are a wide range of artworks to buy including textiles, fabric and felted bags, Christmas trinkets and decorations, photography, paintings, felted Father Christmas figures, fine pendants, bracelets, beaded earrings, bark pictures, pottery, silk scarves, wall hangings, ceramic animals, wood, glass and more!

So get into the Christmas spirit with Little Treasures! Concludes 2pm Saturday 22 December.

Special thanks to the “Men’s Shed” for assisting with the supply of display plinths for this exhibition.

Artist of the Month - December“Tutor’s Choice! - Childrens Art”(1 – 22 December 2007)

A variety of workshops and art classes are offered at Pepper Street throughout the year. Participants come from a range of backgrounds benefiting from the expertise of professional tutors.

In December students from the Saturday Children’s Art Classes will be displayed in the Magill Road foyer. This is a celebration of personal development, new skills, and ‘having a go’ through Arts learning by these young artists of 5 - 12 years.

On view until Saturday 22 December 2007.

The impressive work by Artists of the Month, The Muliga’s will continue to be on display until Wednesday 28 November 2007. Take the opportunity to be amazed by the work of these emerging artists – a group of 14 year old boys, mentored by artist Liz Wauchope, with delightful work for purchase.
