PeopleSoft initially specialized in Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) N/A Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is the PeopleSoft application used to manage interactions with prospective students. CRM may also be used to market alumni or other related populations. Campus Solutions (CS) N/A Campus Solutions (CS) is the PeopleSoft application used to manage the entire student lifecycle from recruiting to admissions, through student services, financial aid, academic advisement, and student financials. Campus Community (CC) N/A Campus Community (CC) is the component within Campus Solutions that serves as the hub, providing many common fields. Biographical and Demographical information is managed and maintained here. Career Classification A grouping of all academic work that is undertaken by a student that the school groups into a single statistical record. Undergraduate or Graduate Empl ID, ID Student ID, UID The six digit number used to identify the person within the PeopleSoft system. Existing IDs will continue to be used. Program College (plus Undergrad/Grad classification and type of program: Teaching, Post Bacc) The entity for which the student applied, is admitted, and ultimately graduates. CBA HFN (CHAS) COE SBS INT SPUG Each program can have different types (e.g. CBAGR, CBAUG, CBAT, CBATP, CBAP) Plan Major/Minor Area of study within the entity, linked directly to a Program or Career. A subdivision of a Program or Career. See Plan Crosswalk Service Indicators Holds A detailed action the student must complete in order to pursue another action. It may be positive or negative. Example: Paying their UBill prior to registering for classes. Term Semester Academic period Fall 2011 = 2112 Spring 2012 = 2113
