I was living the high life; I was on cloud 9. A young bachelor in NYC making great money; life couldn’t be better. Then, the market crash and economic recession led to a lack of new investors. More and more current investors were converting to cash because of fear of the unknown and economic uncertainty. Long story short, couple those factors with a bad investment in the Madoff Fund, and my hedge fund was forced to close its doors. I’m sure we all have our own horror stories.
