Penn Township Supervisor Meeting April 19,2017 Chairman Brenda Moyer called the 4.19.2017 Supervisor Workshop Meeting to order at 6:00pm, followed bythe Pledgeof Allegiance. Present included: Supervisors: Pete DeWire, Brenda Moyer and Jon Payne and Secretary/Treasurer Jacqueline Anders. Public Present: Glenda Ruch - Seda Cog, Bob Zabrowski, Blair Dunkle and Dan Page - Township SEO. April 5.2017 Supervisor Meeting - On motion by Pete DeWire, second byJon Payne and acclamation of board 4.5.17 SupervisorWorkshop Meeting minutes were approved. Opening of Roadway Paving Project Bids as Advertised: (Hower Street and Meadowview Drive section #1) Solicitor Bathgate opened the sealed bids and read results aloud. Results are included as Attachment #1. On motion by Jon Payne, second by Pete DeWire and acclamation of board to accept the iowest bid from Meckley's Limestone inthe amount of $98,630.00 contingent on Solicitor and PennDot representative review of documents and submission of Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance and Executed Contract. Opening of Roadway Seai Coat Project Bids as Advertised: (Saiem Glenn Blvd, Farmhouse and Emily Lane) Solicitor Bathgate opened the sealed bids and read results aloud. Results are included as Attachment #2. On motion byPete DeWire, second byJon Payne and acclamation of board to acceptthe lowest bid from Hammaker East LTD inthe amount of $49,792.16 contingent on Solicitor and PennDot representative review ofdocumentsand submission of Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Certificate of Insurance and Executed Contract. Award Stone Bids- It shall be noted at 2:30 pm on April 19,2017, the 2017 stone bids were opened and read by Jacqueline Anders, secretary/treasurer with the assistant township secretary Moyer. Results are included as Attachment #3. Township to reserve the right to get supply elsewhere if product is not supplied in a timely manner by any supplier. Low bidders as follows: National Limestone bid for 2A stone, 2RG stone, #10 Screenings, Gabion stone. Rip Rap- delivered, R5 rock-delivered, AS 2 Anti-skid, #8 stone-delivered, #57 stone-delivered New Enterprise Stone bid for 9.5 MM Blacktop, 19 MM Blacktop, 25 MM Blacktop and UPM all suppliers subject to all conditions listed being met. On motion by Jon Payne, Second by Pete DeWire and acciamation of board to awardthe stone bids to the lowest bids from Nationai Limestoneand New Enterprise with the Township having the right to get suppiies eisewhere if product is not suppiied In a timely manner. Persons Present to be Heard: Bob Zabrowski - Christ Communitv United Methodist Church - Zabrowski presented a proposal to have their free eventat the LAX field of East Snyder Park on August 4-6,2017. C.O.O.L. Ministries has a public outreach event every year. The event would consist of serving upto 1200 free meals a day, music, blow ups for children, face painting, arts and crafts. They would have a team that would clean the area and the bathrooms during and after the event. On motion by Brenda Moyer, second by Pete DeWire and acclamation of board to allow this community event by Christ Community United Methodist Church on 8/4-6/2017 with completion of a user agreement, fee and provide a certificate of insurance.

Security Cameras - Requesting an estimate to add two security cameras and a WiFi camera.Flagpole - On motion by Pete DeWire, second by Brenda Moyerand acclamation of board to replacethe 25' flagpole at the Township Building for $2020.00 from Uncommon USA.

Isaac Ramer - reguest to use Westernstar truck to pick up sand for the softball team - On motion by JonPayne, second by Pete DeWire and acclamation of board to deny Isaac Ramer's request to usePenn Township's Westernstar truck to drive to Lewisburg to pick up sand for the softball team.

Old Business:

Feral Cat Program - On motion by Brenda Moyer, second by Pete DeWire and No by Jon Payne toset aside $1000.00 for the Feral Cat Program.
