PENN MORTON COLLEGE With our real identity yet hidden we journeyed forward to establish a college, a tradition, a place. Our inspiration had to come from without, we had to bring it out of a tangle of rules, systems, and established logic. For ours was not to be given, ours was to give. We sifted what good we found in the dust of the past. We plastered it together with a mortar made from I-A Classifications, Narcotic Raids, The Bugaloo, Soul, Simon & Garfunkul, Stolen Exams, Schmidts, and Sex. For we were not someone else. We found little to lean back on and rushing forward we often stumbled. But our scars and victories will always be there ; when Pot and Hippies and Judicial Boards and Constitutions and Dress Codes and Man- datory Assemblies will only be memories. PENN MORTON COLLEGE

With our real identity yet hidden we journeyed forward to establish a college, a tradition, a place. But our scars and victories will always be there ; when Pot and Hippies and Judicial Boards and Constitutions and Dress Codes and Mandatory Assemblies will only be memories.

Everyone of us has given something to a college we hope someday will be there. We have closed textbooks, packed cars, and left the place we started.
