How Does It Work?Testing Phase One (Company Only)
Companies issued a number of “active” shuttle passes
Shuttles fitted with: Computer RFID pass reader Wireless interface
Web Site developed for reporting and tracking utilization
Rider Use
Rider boards shuttle bus Scans Pass Reader accepts pass, or Reader alerts bus operator of non-
active account Transaction in 1 second or less
Information FlowTesting Phase One
Company issued RFID passes All issued passes marked “active” and
“non-expiring” At Company or Alliance discretion, a pass
may be “deactivated” via the administration web site
When used the pass will be logged into a database for reporting pass, Company, name, date, time, location, etc.
Use Data Flow
As RFID pass is scanned Online system checks rider status –
active or not active Displays status on shuttle bus:
Green: ActiveYellow: Not Active, patron boards and operator reminds patron to contact employerRed: 2nd Day Not Active, no ride given
Monthly Management Reports
List of all shuttle passes by company Frequency of use Company or work location of rider Other reports as requested

Equipment Maintenance
Clancy shall be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the vehicle equipment during the test and operational phases of the project without additional cost to the Alliance.
Administration Web Site
Management will use this site for reports and other administrative functions
Alliance or Company may deactivate or reactivate Company distributed passes
No additional cost
Testing Phase One Costs Hardware provided without cost by Clancy
