Initiatives to kickstart the Creative Industries
• Aims to nurture interest towards Science, Technology, English and Mathematics among young generations through the Penang Science Council (PSC) Program.
• Initiative between the industries and the State Government to cultivate innovation and research with the community.

Creative Animation Triggers (CAT)Strategic location in George Town Heritage Enclave
• 1st March 2014 - Launched Creative Animation Triggers (CAT) – offers >100,000 sqft of heritage building space
• These are buildings over 100 years old and will be retro-fitted with world class infrastructure and amenities but still maintain its character and charm.
• The George Town Heritage Enclave is a unique enclave has one of the highest concentration of historical buildings in Southeast-Asia.
• Penang aspires to become a creative city especially in the animation/gaming and interactive contents industry.
