    Job Summary

    Update and maintain relevant recording systems of paper-based and electronic documentation

    Work in accordance with Penumbra’s policies and procedures and strategic objectives

    Work in accordance with the SSSC Code of Practice, including registration within 6 months as a Practitioner in a Care Home

    Keep up to date with sector and organisational developments Participate in training, activities and meetings as required Assist with project work as required

    Person Specification Qualifications

    Essential

    Good level of educational attainment

    Desirable

    SVQ3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent as defined by the SSSC

    Completion of Peer Support Worker Training (e.g. Meta Services Peer Employment Training or other similar peer support training)

    Knowledge and Experience

    Essential

    Experience of being in a supportive and enabling role Personal experience of recovery from mental health problems

    Desirable

    Experience working with a person-centred approach Experience of working in the mental health field
