Welcome to the Nursing Combo Course at Peel campus This Course has been designed in collaboration with the Murdoch School of Health Professions to provide students with a unique opportunity to gain a formal qualification in Aged Care, whilst also gaining guaranteed entry to the Murdoch School of Health Professions to become a Registered Nurse (providing that all course requirements are met successfully). The Certificate IV in Ageing Support CHC43015 qualification you achieve will prepare you for work as Support Workers in adult day centres, or in-home support services. Students can also apply for employment as aides, multi-skilled support workers, nursing assistants, attendant carers or aged care support workers. The Certificate IV in Ageing Support CHC43015 was selected by Murdoch University as an appropriate entry level course for University studies. In your Nursing Combo year, you will be both a South Metropolitan TAFE student and a Murdoch University student. The course is designed to give an employment opportunity in Aged Care for ongoing university students whilst they continue their Nursing Degree, after completion of their Combo year.
