New Additions to the Resource Library
Angry and Good: A Biblical Approach (DVD) and The Angry Christian:
A Bible-based Strategy to Care for and Discipline a Valuable Emotion
(book) by Bert Ghezzi
These complementary resources explore how to use anger wisely in-
stead of ignoring or suppressing it. Let’s face it, we’ve all experienced
anger. Let’s see what God’s Word says about it and how to steer it in a
good direction!
What’s the Least I Can Believe and Still Be a Christian?: A Guide to What
Matters Most by Martin Thielen
This book is divided into two parts: 10 things Christians don’t need to believe, in-
cluding “God causes cancer, car wrecks, and other catastrophes,” and 10 things
Christians do need to believe, like “Jesus Christ’s resurrection gives us hope for life
and even hope for death.” It’s a valuable resource for lifelong Christians to see the
faith with new eyes, for new believers to consider the important aspects of faith,
and for anyone who wonders just what being a Christian means exactly.
Songs and Prayers from Taizé
If you were at our May 2019 presbytery meeting at Northminster Presby-
terian, you experienced the Taizé style of worship: short, simple songs re-
peated several times that lead us to worship with our hearts and souls.
The presbytery has 36 copies of this songbook and a copy of the accompa-
niment edition. Come grab the box and start singing with your church!
If you would like to check out any of these new materials, please contact
Rachel Shepherd at [email protected].
