On behalf of the organizers the American University of Sovereign Nations(AUSN),USA,EubiosEthics Institute,ManipurUniversity, IndiraGandhiNationalTribalUniversity,ManipurUniversityofCulture,Youth'sUNESCOClub (Nepal);we inviteyouto support and participate in the forthcoming Tenth Youth Looking Beyond Disaster(LBD10)TrainingWorkshop.

TheWorkshopintendstoincorporatepeopleofallagestoreflectonhowwecanprepare our communities to be resilient to disasters, learn lessons from disasterrecovery, implementSustainableDevelopmentGoals,andcreatePeace. Theoccasionwill encourage sharing, learning skills and wisdom thatmay inspire our world to livemore peacefully. Displaying of materials and posters related to the theme shall beencouraged, but it will not promote any religion, ideology, political agenda, or aparticulargroup.Theoccasionwillalsogiveaplatformforpeoplefromaroundtheworldtomeetandlearnfromeachothersothatabetterfuturecanbebuilt.

Background:Since2010,EubiosEthicsInstituteincooperationwithpartnerinstitutionsincludingAmericanUniversityofSovereignNations (AUSN),UNESCO,HiroshimaPeaceCulture Foundation andothers have organized eleven Youth PeaceAmbassador (YPA)and eight Youth Looking Beyond Disaster (LBD) TrainingWorkshops across the worldwith 900 youth and young professionals from over 50 countries attending them.

Together,theparticipantsidentifiedissuesthatcanpromoteacultureofpeace.Sofarthey have developed 350 action projects promoted at making a difference in theircommunities. Manipur suffered a disaster during the earthquake of 2016. TheWorkshop aims to help societies developing Disaster Resilience, rebuilding ourcommunity when faced with disasters and conflict, developing global solidarity andlearninglessonsfromothercommunitiesbyworkingtogether.Outcomes:Participantswillbebenefitedintheformofdevelopingtheirownactionplanduring the workshop. This could be an activity that they are already involved in, orsomethingnew.Thefacilitatorswillassisteveryonetodevelopanachievableplan.Tipsonfundraisingwillbeshared.Learningfromtheexamplesofpreviousactionplans,andmakingnewconnectionswithpeoplefromothercountrieswillbethehighlights.Peoplewho report on previous action plans can become a youth ambassador(http://www.eubios.info/youth_ambassadors)Registration:Fee(inclusiveofboardingandlodging,tours,certificate)is250USDorinrupees.
