Netball
Task 1:
Create an information booklet or poster to explain the game of Netball to someone who has never seen or played it before:
Use the success criteria below- it must include ALL of these points
Use images and diagrams
1. Warm up: Describe a good warm up for netball- make sure you include the three phases of a warm up (pulse
raiser/stretches/skills practice). Include timings on each stage2. Court:
Draw the netball court (use a ruler) What are the measurements? Where can each player go? (can you show this in images/numbered areas?)
3. Positions: What are the 7 netball positions? Who marks who? Where does everyone stand for a centre pass?
4. Shooting: Describe the correct technique when shooting in netball- use diagrams to help with your description if needed.
5. Passing: What are the three types of Netball Pass? How do you do each pass?
6. Rules: Explain the main rules of Netball
7. Footwork: Explain the rules around footwork in Netball. What are you allowed and not allowed to do?
Task 2:
Complete the blank knowledge organisers:
1st attempt with no notes 2nd attempt- using your previous knowledge organiser packs
Learn the content – look, cover, think, check
Task 3: Practical- this can be performed in a room with no equipment needed
Each week:
Do 1x Joe Wicks workout of your choice from You Tube (type Joe wicks for beginners in to the search bar) - remember to warm up (type Joe Wicks warm up in the search if you are unsure)
1x Yoga session (you tube, type: Yoga for complete beginners- 20 minute home yoga workout! Into the search bar #yogawithadriene)
