The state of Johor is moving with great resolve and making significant strides in the quest of development.

The Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC) has brought on lucrative economic spillovers, however, the benefits should be reaped cautiously to spur further growth. In this effort, I am very pleased that PDT Oil and Gas Services Sdn Bhd has responded positively while remaining at the forefront of Johor’s mission for sustainable and robust development, both economically and socially.

The company will continue leveraging on the state’s competitive advantage to achieve our vision of taking on a lead role as the service provider of choice in the oil and gas industry. This is a part of our optimized efforts to reinforce and intensify Johor’s steady economic and development trajectory.

Guided by our principles of enthusiasm, quality and cooperation, we are working hard to meet the expectations of our partners, shareholders and stakeholders, and gain respect from our peers. We look forward to higher returns and revenue increase on a yearly basis in order to attain sustainable growth for the state of Johor.

Focusing on the main development tracks, Johor must be constant in creating a favorable ecosystem as an important driver for the diverse refining and downstream industry sectors.

Despite the weight and volume of our tasks, the need to development domestic human capital remains on top of our mind. In this context, I believe that providing a platform for reskilling and skills development is one of the most important determinants of Johor’s economic health and success.

Moving forward, we will continue to commit and strengthen the environment to facilitate lifelong learning and career progression in view of the rapid advancements and growing trends such as artificial intelligence and automation.

Hasni Mohammad, as the Menteri Besar of Johor and Chairman of PDT Oil & Gas Services, for his continuous support towards our concerted efforts to penetrate the oil and gas industry. As our reputation amongst clients and quality supplier of NDT and Inspection services has grown reliable, we have added to the range of services we has to offer to our customers. PDT Techniques has embarked on a plan to expand our geographic area of operation and extend the services available to take advantage of new business opportunities and the specific needs of existing and new customers.

PDT Techniques, a subsidiary of Permodalan Darul Ta'zim, a wholly-owned Johor State Government company specializes in providing inspection consulting services, non-destructive testing, corrosion engineering and asset integrity management services to the oil and gas, petrochemical, utility, manufacturing and construction industries throughout Malaysia and abroad.

PDT Ascend was established in 2018 by PDT Oil & Gas Services Sdn. Bhd. (a wholly-owned company by the Johor State Government) and Tiong Woon Crane & Transport (M) Sdn. Bhd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary under Tiong Woon Corporation Holding Ltd). Founded in 1978 and listed in the main board of the Singapore Stock Exchange since 1999, Tiong Woon has establishments in 10 countries within the South-east Asia region and Saudi Arabia, amassing a fleet of more

than 500 heavy lifting machineries over 41 years.

PDT Ascend thrives to be the most customer-centric company by offering great finesse in the operation and maintenance services of the heavy machinery industry throughout the region. Traversing more than just a service provider, our company aims to foster the local participation and acts as a catalyst in enhancing the livelihood of the future generation in the State of Johor.

We also possess our own fleet of heavy lift and haulage equipment, tugboats and barges to provide a wide spectrum of integrated services for clients who are mainly involved in the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) Project in Pengerang, Johor.

PDT Ascend Sdn Bhd delivers integrated heavy lift and haulage services for the construction and transport of large and heavy structures for the offshore market.

Established in 29 November 2018, PDT Scaffolding Engineering Sdn Bhd is a leading scaffold provider of choice to the upstream and downstream sectors in the

oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

Subsidiary to Permodalan Darul Ta’zim, a wholly company by Johor State Government, PDT Scaffold has grown from strength-to-strength in the industry, both organically and through strategic alliances with

experience technology partner.

We pride ourselves as a global player given the company’s joint venture background with the industry powerhouses.

Having well established facilities in Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development (RAPID) in Pengerang, Johor gives the strategic locations for us.
