Strong on safetyIf a plug is partially pulledout of a 500 Series powersocket, the plug pins onlyremain live while there isa gap of 5mm betweenthe socket face plate andthe plug - not enoughroom for small fingers totouch the live pins.For additional safety, thesocket pin holes are fittedwith safety shutters.
Fixing screwsattachedFixing screws and screwcaps are now fitted to aneasy-to-remove clip,attached to the back ofthe plate.Fumbling with screwpacks or screwsfitted to flush plates isnow a thing of the past.
