Acceptable Programme Performance

Acceptable Programme Performance
Students are required to maintain an acceptable level of academic performance to remain eligible for the award of degree. The following guidelines apply:
After Term 1 GPA less than or equal to 4.40 Dismissal
GPA less than or equal to 4.80 Probation
GPA less than or equal to 5.90 Warning
After Term 2 GPA less than or equal to 4.40 Dismissal
GPA less than or equal to 4.80 Probation
GPA less than or equal to 5.90 Warning
In subsequent terms GPA less than or equal to 4.80 Dismissal
GPA less than or equal to 5.20 Probation

Columbia Business School Research Centers
Tutoring Resources • Each student receives 45 hours of free peer tutoring for the
duration of the program for quantitative core courses and the pre/co-requisite finance elective, Capital Markets and Investments.
• Tutors for the courses above are recruited from EMBA, MBA and PhD students and Alumni. Students tutored in a group of two or more can pool their hours. Additional hours beyond the 45 allocated per above may be scheduled at the expense of the student.
• Tutortrac is a scheduling program that students may use to schedule tutoring sessions.
