SKILL DEVELOPMENT AND CAPACITY BUILDING TRAINING IN NABARANGPUR

Helping needy people through a wide range of support, techniques and

initiatives, which aim to develop their skills and knowledge so they can meet their

aims more effectively in future - is the main objectives of capacity building training in

this district.

In essence, this skill development and capacity building training adopts a

strategy that guides us, through a systematic and need based planning process leading

from the “where we are now” to the determination “where we want to be”, through

identification of training programmes, exposure visits etc. “how to get there” and

finally to a sustainability position “how to stay there”.

In this district, skill development and capacity building training programmes

has been conducted by different offices during 2011-12, where the trainees are being

imparted the up to date and need based

trainings in different institutes/

organisations to sustain their socio

economic development efficiently and

effectively. Placements is our motto and

we had achieved also in every skilled

development and capacity building

training programme.

At a nutshell, during 2011-12, 17835 no. of trainees were imparted the skill

development and capacity building training in 76 no. of trades, out of which around
