Actually protects wall on both sides when the chimney isnot adjacent to the house wall. InsulFlue reduces the minimum 18"clearance specified by NFPA standard to 2". Can be used with singleor double wall connector pipe.
Installation is easy with simple household tools. InsulFlue may beinstalled with masonry or metal chimneys. Available in 6", 7" or8"diameters and accommodates any wall thickness.

Increaser (left)and Reducer(right)
Superpipe Double-Wall Black StovepipeUsethis double-wall pipe with SuperPro chimney when you need to reduce
clearances to combustibles. We're impressed with how easily it joins together.Superpipe, with a lifetime warranty, is a 26-ga. black steel outer pipe with a
.015",430-alloy stainless inner liner. This double-wall construction is cooler onthe outside and thus lets you reduce both wall and ceiling clearance down to 6".
Superpipe Double-Wall ComponentsThe damper kit (A) is installed right above the stove adaptor. Used on older stoves
without adequate air controls, it displaces 41/4" of pipe.Elbows (B)are sectioned and nonadjustable. There are two telescoping lengths. The small lenqth (C)adjusts from 12" to 18".The
longer length adjusts from 38" to 68".Both lengths include a finishing trim collar. The masonry adaptor mates directly to a masonry chimney. It is,essentially, a thimble
into a masonry flue. Its overall length is 113/4" - the part that actually inserts through themasonry chimney is 9".Compatible only with Superpipe Double-Wall BlackStovepipe.
The double-wall universal finishing band conceals the joints andprovides a finished look. When installing Superpipe, the joints appear tobe going the wrong direction with a "male-end-up" connection. This iscorrect for the outer wall. The inner wall is a "male-end-down" connec-tion.
When you're mating Superpipe to SuperPro factory-built chimney, theblack stovepipe to chimney adaptor twist locks directly to the bottom
Finishing band section of SuperPro.The male end of the adaptor slips into the innerwall of the Superplpe. A finishing band is needed tocomplete this joint. (Asan option, the finishing trimcan be used on other Superpipe joints for a morefinished look). Compatible only with SuperProFactory-Built Systems.
Usethe stove adaptor to connect Superpipe tothe stove. The adaptor's inner wall fits into the collar
Black stovepipe Stove adaptor on the top of the stove, and the outside fits over theadaptor outside wall of the stove collar. The airspacebetween the inner and outer wall of the adaptor is 112" (not V4" as in the double-wall pipeitself) to allow some variation in stove collar size. The installed stove adaptor displaces 41/4"of pipe.
w''''''''- -.
Homesaver" Stovepipe ShieldThe HomeSaver Stovepipe Shield allows you to reduce required single-wall stovepipe clear-
ances from 18" to 6'~The stovepipe shield attaches to the pipe with the ceramic spacers andscrews provided. This often eliminates the need to attach a cumbersome shield directly to com-bustible surfaces nearby.

. Question 1: When should I insulate my chimney liner?Whenever you reline a chimney in a solid fuel application (wood, pellet or coal) in most cases you mustinsulate. This requires 1/2" layer of SUPER WRAPTM.The only exception to this would be when a chim-ney is built according to code NFPA 211 and the chimney and flue tiles are in good condition.
Unfortunately, these chimneys are rare. According to the NFPA 211code a chimney needs one inch of air spacebetween the exterior of a chimney and com-bustibles and one inch of air space between the
• interior of the chimney and the flue tiles. In thissituation, according to our FOREVERFLEXTMlist-ing, you do not have to insulate the liner.
Information & Supplies forInsulating ChimneyLining Systems
(The criteria for installation must be in confor-mance with the specifications contained in thelatest version of the NFPA 211 and local or statebuilding codes, whichever has jurisdiction. Con-tact local building or fire officials about restric-tions and installation inspection in your area.)
Question 2: Do I need to insulateoil or gas appliance relineinstallations?
)7
:::s'"C-~::".e:::sOlympia Chimney Supply
knows what a challenge it isto insulate chimney liners. We would like to help answersome of your questions!
:::s-e'"'t3~::".e:::s
WHEN DO I NEED TO INSULATE?
To maintain For better resultsUL listing ••• we recommend ••.
If clearance allows, 1/4" Super
Oil None Required Wrap layer or any thickness ofEverGuard Insulation Mix.
(Home heating oil) This will stabilize draft andreduce condensation.
If clearance allows, 1/4" SuperGas None Required Wrap layer or any thickness of(Natural or Propane) EverGuard Insulation Mix.
This will stabilize draft andreduce condensation.
Solid Fuels1/2" Super Wrap
1/2" Super Wrap layer requiredlayer required or 1"(Wood, Coal, Pellet) EverGuard or 1" EverGuard Insulation Mix.
Insulation Mix.
According to our FOREVERFLE)(TMULlisting weare happy to say it is not required. Our UL listinghas a ZEROto ZEROclearance specification. Thismeans there is no air space required betweenthe liner and the interior of the chimney and noair space is required from the exterior of thechimney and combustibles. (Of course this is a properly built chimney, accordingto code, with a nominal 4" thick masonry chimney).
However, even though insulating is not a requirement with oil or gas there are installations where wewould recommend you still do so:
1) If a heating appliance is above 82% efficiency and vented into a flue.
2) If it is an outside chimney in a cold climate,
3) If a chimney is having drafting problems and/or down drafts. Insulating these liners with 1/4" layerof SUPER WRAPTMis a great way to reduce condensation and stabilize draft.
In any case, we want you to know that if you choose not to insulate oil or gas reline installations, this inno way affects your ULlisting or your FOREVERWARRANTyrM!
