Parking

Free parking will be available from 4:00 pm (New Year’s Eve) to 1:00 am (New Year’s Day) in on-street and off-street parking bays at the Waterfront, including the Kitchener Drive multistorey car park and the Darwin Convention Centre basement car park.

A temporary overflow car park has been made available on Mavie Street. Entry and exit for the car park will be via Frances Bay, and Stokes Hill Wharf.

Walking

To avoid delays, patrons are encouraged to park in the city and either catch the bus or take the short stroll across the sky bridge and down the glass lift into the heart of the celebrations.

Free buses

A free bus service will depart the Darwin Interchange “Bay F” every 15 minutes from 6:00 pm New Year’s Eve to 1:00 am New Year’s Day. Buses will depart the Waterfront from the Darwin Convention Centre’s porte cochere area.

The courtesy shuttle bus will operate to Stokes Hill Wharf, departing from Indo Pacific Marine and behind the Wave Lagoon kisok between 4:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

Toilets

Toilets are located:• Towards the Coffee Club (on Kitchener Drive)• Wave Lagoon Kiosk and • Behind Il Lido & Hot Tamale restaurants.
