Find your ideal height for your ironing board

Choose a location near an outlet, where there is proper clearance per the diagrams below. You may only need clearance in one direction. The door can be mounted to the cabinet on either side. If it is unknown if there is plumbing or electrical inside the wall, use the surface mount option. For recessed mounting, this product is designed to fit between two standard wood studs with 16” spacing.

Based on the room layout, decide whether you will mount the Ironing Center low on the wall and have the board swing up, or mount it mid-wall and have the board swing down. Choose the ideal height for the ironing board surface. Use the guide below to calculate how high off the floor you should mount the Ironing Center. Mark the wall for the top of the cabinet.

If it is unknown if there is plumbing or electrical inside the wall, use the surface mount option.  

Install Door and Door Hardware Place the hinge so that it is flush with the edge of the door as show, and the metal plate when upright is ½” from the edge of the door. Based on room layout, determine which side of the cabinet to install the door hinges. Lay the cabinet down on that side. Lay DOOR upside down next to cabinet, centered on the cabinet. The pointed ears on the HINGE should rest along the edge of the cabinet and there should be about a ½” gap between the door and cabinet. Drill 3/32” pilot holes, ¼” deep and secure the two HINGES with four ROUND HEAD SCREWS.

Install Clothes HOOK using two FLAT HEAD SCREWS in the upper corner of the DOOR as shown

Install magnetic CATCH within the upper storage area on the side opposite the hinges as shown. The plastic face surrounding the magnet should be flush with the cabinet edge. Drill 3/32” pilot holes ¼” deep and secure with two ROUND HEAD SCREWS.

Place Ironing Board Inside Cabinet

Use the mark to locate the top of the cabinet. Use stud finder to locate the nearest stud to either side. Cut opening in the wallboard as shown. Slide the Ironing Center cabinet into the opening. Use shims to level unit, and to apply light pressure on both sides against the wood studs. Drive two WALL SCREWS through the sides of the cabinet, though the shims and into the wood studs about 6” down from the top of the cabinet.

Use the mark to locate the top of the cabinet. Find the nearest stud center. Choose the hole in the upper support bracket that places the cabinet in the best location, and drive a WALL SCREW through that hole and into the center of the stud.

Pull bar up to unlock and configure ironing board assembly

Fold ironing board assembly as shown for the mounting method chosen. Place into cabinet and align the side bracket holes with the pre-drilled holes in the sides of the cabinet.

For Surface Mounting Only, secure the IRONING BOARD ASSEMBLY to the sides of the cabinet with six ROUND HEAD SCREWS. Level cabinet. Drive two WALL SCREWS into the two holes in the back bracket of the Ironing Board Assembly that correspond to the hole used at the top of the cabinet by the previous screw, securing the ironing board assembly directly to the wall stud.

For Recessed Mounting Only, secure the IRONING BOARD ASSEMBLY to the sides of the cabinet using four ROUND HEAD SCREWS (two on each side) and two WALL SCREWS (2” long) one each in the back, center hole of each side bracket. These screws go through the cabinet sides and into the wall studs. You may have to unlock the IRONING BOARD ASSEMBLY and adjust the position to get access to the screw locations.

Install Trim (Recessed Mount Only)

Secure Ironing Board Inside Cabinet

A roll of peel-and-stick trim is supplied to hide the rough edges of the wall opening on the sides and top of the cabinet. Cut the desired pieces to length and fold 90 degrees with the adhesive towards the outside of the fold. Peel adhesive and apply to where the cabinet meets the wall.

Install Ironing board Cover Stretch COVER around the extended ironing board surface. Pull and tie the drawstring, then hook the loops in the center of the cover to the hooks on the hinges.

For Ironing Center Mounted Low On Wall

Tightening the plastic KNOB keeps board from swinging or tipping forward while ironing.

Pulling down on the HANDLE releases the board, allowing it to fold up or down.

Extend the ironing board. Swing to the desired location and tighten KNOB.

Pull HANDLE and pull down the ironing board until it locks

Done? Fold The Board, then pull the HANDLE and retract the unit back into the cabinet.

Pull up the ironing board until it locks.

Elija  un  lugar  cerca  de  una  toma  electrica,  donde  haya  el  espacio  adecuado  por  debajo  de  los  diagramas.  Puede  que  solo  necesite  espacio  en  una  direccion.  La  puerte  se  puede  montar  en  el  gabinete  a  cada  lado.  Si  no  sabe  si  hay  tuberias  o  electricos  dentro  de  la  pared,  uAlice  la  opcion  de  montaje  en  superficie.  Para  montaje  empotrado,  este  producto  esta  disenado  para  encajar  entre  dos  postes  de  madera  estandar  con  16”  distancia.  

Con  base  en  la  distribucion  de  la  sala,  decidir  si  va  a  montar  el  Centro  de  planchado  bajo  en  la  pared  y  que  la  junta  se  mueven  hacia  arriba,  o  montar  a  mediados  de  la  pared  con  el  deslisador  hacia  abajo.  Elija  la  altura  ideal  para  la  superficie  del  tablero  de  planchar.  UAlice  la  siguiente  guia  para  calular  que  tan  alto  del  suelo  debe  montar  el  Centro  de  planchado.  Marcar  en  la  pared  de  la  parte  superior  del  gabinete.                                                                                        

Si  no  se  sabe  si  hay  tuberias  o  electrico  dentro  de  la  pared,  uAlice  la  opcion  de  montaje  en  superficie  

Instalacion  de  puertas  y  accesorios  para  puertas  

Coloque la bisagra de modo que quede al ras con el borde de la puerta como se muestra y la placa metalica en posicion vertical es ½ desde el borde de la puerta.          Sobre  la  base  de  distribucion  de  la  sala,  determinar  de  que  lado  del  el  gabinete  para  instalar  las  bisagras  de  la  puerta.  Coloque  el  gabinete  de  abajo  de  ese  lado.  Apoyo  la  puerta  al  reves  al  lado  de  gabinete,  centrada  en  el  gabinete.        La  oreja  puntuaguda,  en  la  bisagra  debe  descansar  a  lo  largo  de  el  borde  de  la  caja  y  no  debe  haber  e  ea  sobre  un  espacio  de  ½  entre  la  puerta  y  la  cabina  Taladre  orificios  de  3/32“  agujeros  piloto  de  ¼”  de  profundidad  y  asegurar  la  dos  bisagras  con  cuarto  tornillos  de  cabeza  ronda.    

Instale  Gancho  para  la  ropa  con  dos  tornillos  de  cabeza  plana  en  la  esquina  superior  de  la  puerta  como  se  muestra    

Instale  la  capturamagneAca  dentro  de  la  pared  superior  area  de  almacenamiento  en  el  lado  opuesto  de  las  bisagras  como  se  muestra.  La  cara  de  plasAco  que  rodea  el  iman  o  al  ras  con  el  borde  del  gabinete.  Taladre  orificios  de  3/32”  agujeros  guia  de  1/4/de  profundidad  y  segura  con  dos  Tornillos  de  cabeza  ronda.

Instale  la  placa  en  la  puerta  con  dos  Tornillos  de  cabeza  plana  para  que  el  gancho  magneAco  golpee  el  centro  del  delantero  cuando  la  puerta  esta  cerrada

UAlizar  la  marca  para  localizar  el  gabinete  un  superior.  Usar  localizador  de  montantes  para  localizar  el  poste  mas  cercano  a  cada  lado.  Cortar  la  apertura  de  el  panel  de  yeso,  como  se  muestra.  Deslice  el  gabinete  en  el  Centro  de  planchado.  UAlice  cunas  para  nivelar  la  unidad,  y  aplicar  una  ligera  presion  en  ambas  partes  contra  los  postes  de  madera.  Taladre  dos  tornillos  de  pared  a  traves  de  los  lados  del  gabiente,  las  calzas  y    en  medio  de  postes  de  madera  de  6”  por  debajo  de  la  superior.

UAlice  el  agujero  mas  cercano  al  centro  del  poste.  Mover  gabinete  de  manera  que  el  agujero  este  en  el  centro  del  poste.  Impuse  el  tornillo  en  la  viga  central

UAliza  la  marca  para  localizar  la  parte  superior  de  la  gabinete.  Encontrar  el  poste  mas  cercano.Elija  el  agujero  en  el  soporte  superior  coloca  el  gabinete  en  la  mejor  ubicacion,  y  conducir  un  tornillo  pared  a  traves  de  ese  agujero  y  en  centro  de  la  viga

Tire  de  la  barra  hacia  arriba  para  desbloquear  y  configurar  el  conjunto  del  planchar  

Doble  la  tabla  de  planchar  ensamblada  como  muestra  elmetodo  de  montaje  elegido.  Coloca  el  gabinete  y  a  linie  los  orificios  del  soporte  con  los  agujeros  previamente  tatadrado  en  los  lados  de  la  gabinete.  

Solo  para  montaje  en  Superficie,  asegure  la  planchador  en  los  lados  de  la  caja  con  seis  tornillos  de  cabeza  redonda  nivel  del  gabinete.  Traccion  en  dos  PARED  Tornillos  en  los  dos  agujeros  en  el  soporte  poscerior  de  la  tabla  de  planchar  ensamble  que  correspondan  con  el  agujero  de  uAlizar  en  la  parte  superior  del  gabinete  dela  por  el  tornillo  anterior,  asegurando  la  tabla  de  planchar  montaje  directamente  a  la  viga  de  la  pared.  

Solo  para  el  montaje  empotrado,  asegure  la  tabla  de  planchar  ENSAMBLE  a  los  lados  del  gabinete  con  cuarto  tornillos  de  RONDA  CABEZA  tornillos  (dos  en  cada  lado)  y  dos  (2”),  uno  en  la  parte  trasera,  el  centro  del  agujero  de  cada  lado  soporte.  Estos  tornillos  pasan  por  los  lados  del  gabinete  y  en  los  montantes  de  la  pared.  Puede  que  tenga  que  abrir  la  tabla  de  planchar  ENSAMBLADA  u  ajustar  la  posicion  para  tener  acceso  a  los  lugares  de  los  tornillos

Apriete  la  perilla  de  plasAco  manAene  la  tabla  de  movimientos  de  balanceo  o  inclinacion  hacia  delante  durante  el  planchado.  

Tirando  hacia  abajo  la  manija  suelta  el  tablero,  lo  que  permite  que  se  doble  hacia  arriba  o  hacia  abajo  

Amplie  la  tabla  de  planchar.  Deslice    a  la  posicion  deseada  y  apriete  la  perilla  

Tire  de  la  manija  y  Are  hacia  abajo  la  tabla  de  planchar  hasta  que  encaje  

Hecho?Doble  la  tabla,  a  conAnuacion,  Are  el  mango  y  vuelva  la  unidad  de  nuevo  en  el  gabinete.  

Tire  hacia  arriba  de  la  tabla  de  planchar  hasta  que  encaje
