SNAM is the italian leader in gas compression and distribution plants, including engineering of needed structures (as pump stations) too.In the Malborghetto and Instrana pump stations, the redundant DC and AC systems are installed including ASTRID reversible Inverter, able to retransfer energy to the mains without the limitations of common reversible chargers.

ANSALDOBREDA (part of FINMECCANICA group) is the italian specialist on railway engineering and supply.ASTRID converters are installed in the trains of Intercity “901 carrozze” project (Multivoltage converter up to 3kV input, 45kW 380Vac + 5kW 24Vdc output) and in trains IC2/IC4 for DSB (Denmark).ASTRID projects converters for trains but the required specific test station too, giving to its customers hardware and learning technicians in order to allow the day by day servicing for the final customer satisfation.
