Pinellas Pioneer Settlement is a living history museum where visitors can observe and take part in the skills, crafts and social customs of late 19th century life in west central Florida. The settlement includes The Brantley Building (1888), Endicott House (1898), Blacksmith Shop, Saw Mill, Sugar Cane Shed, Print Shop, Gas Station, and Log Cabin. Facilities Available for Rent Pole Barn – A covered shelter
that measures 24’ x 48’, concrete floor, and electricity. Seats 75

Application Process

Application fee is non-refundable and required for all rentals at the time of application. The individual or representative of an organization wishing to cancel must do so in writing within 24 hours of the scheduled usage for a refund to be considered.

Availability
The facilities are available from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday. Rentals outside these hours of operation are subject to an additional staff fee. Facilities are not available June through August.

Payment may be made by cash, check (made payable to City of St. Petersburg), or credit card.
Additional Information
City Code, Section 21-44 – Fishing is prohibited, regardless of method used, except at such times and places as may be designated with signs.
City Code, Section 21-54 – It is unlawful to pursue, catch, molest, or kill animals in a city park, or to remove or disturb their nest or burrow. It is unlawful to disturb, trim, replant, relocate, destroy, injure, pick, or crush any plant life, including but not limited to any tree, shrub, grass, flower, fruit, or turf without permit.
Youth – Persons under the age of 16 are not allowed in the woods or on the trails without adult supervision. Signage – Signs may be used, but cannot be nailed to any tree or structure and must be removed at the
conclusion of the event. Vehicles – Motorcycles or off road vehicles are prohibited in areas not designated as roads. Pets – No pets of any kind are allowed. Supplies/Equipment – Groups are required to bring their own first aid supplies, bed linens, pillows, towels,
soap, personal toiletries, and recreational equipment. Smoking – Smoking is not permitted in any facility. Care must be taken for the disposal of smoking materials. Lighting – Only battery operated lights are allowed. No candles, fuel burning lanterns or any open flames are
allowed in any building. Noise – Appropriate noise/music levels should be maintained and not impose on other programs or neighbors.
No disc jockeys or bands are allowed. The City’s noise ordinance goes into effect at 11:00 pm. Fire Circle Information
Fire Permit – By county ordinance, a fire permit is required for using any fire circle. Call the St. Petersburg Fire Department (727-893-7064) to obtain a permit.
Fires – Fires may be built only in designated fire circles or barbeque grills. Firewood – No standing or downed timber may be cut for firewood. The Parks and Recreation Department
will provide firewood when available.
Overnight Rentals
To qualify your organization must be a
school or registered non-profit group
serving individuals under the age of 18.
Rental participants must be comprised
of these individuals under the age of 18
that your organization serves.
