Black Sand Album | Package DesignThis was a concept album cover made for a local j-rock influenced band. They wanted to evoke a feelingof being in a place far away from Miami. For this, the black sand of Reynisfjara, Iceland was chosen -- a far cry fromthe white beaches typically found in the area. This foreign feeling is further highlighted in the minimalistic vinyl diskcover, where the white sandy hills are completely stripped of all that would make them seem familiar to a Miamian.

This Historic Riviera | Print DesignThe Historic Riviera is a monthly historical journal centered around the city of Coral Gables. The book shown is the first volume of their bi-yearly book which reprints all the published articlestogether. For this reason, I used real borders found in newspapers published in 1920’s to 1950’s Coral Gablesand Miami. The Mediteranian style of the city influenced the color scheme of the color for the first issue.
