Religions say, Beware! Material affluenceoreven sufficiency may corrupt or spoil people.

This demeaning assault on Christian minds be-gan during the Dark Ages.

An unprejudiced study of early Christianity re-

veals the practice of positive faith for Gods abun-dant lifestyle. They prospered and they were gen-erous.

Doctrines to Sanctify PovertyThen Constantines acceptance of Christ popu-

larized Christianity. Following this epoch, a domi-

nating church hierarchy evolved to control busi-ness, science, education and religion. Astute eccle-siastical leaders manipulated public wealth untilthe religious system monopolized financial control,and the people were reduced to poverty throughtolls and taxes.

The masses became restless in their subservientrole and asserted their claim to a better life. Thatwas when financial experts of the church hierar-chy consorted with the clergy to invent doctrineswhich would sanctify poverty and thus pacify thepeasantry.

Invoking God, they brainwashed the people whowere not allowed to read the Bible.

Bible teachings intended to discourage the per-verted love of money, have been twisted intothreatening doctrines that material gain producesarrogance and invites damnation.

Neutered CreativityReligion has incessantly neutralized creativity

by persuading people that to desirethe better lifeis to covet or lust or envy the forbidden fruit.

Inquire about Gods ideas for you.Dare to be a

thinker. Reexamine Gods dream. What was Hisidea for the people He created in His likeness?

After Satan tempted Adam and Eve to questionGods word and to disobey Him, there was nomore basis for life on His level. But did Godabandon His people project? What about the in-

calculable price He paid to repurchase you fromslavery?

Created for the Good LifeWhy did God pay so much to restore you to

Him?

The answer must be: That is how much Hethinks you are worth!

If God values you that much, would younot bethe reason for the abundance of His creation allaround you? Who else would it have been createdfor?

Your Rightful DomainMany religious books conspire to condemn as

sinful any desire for material blessing. Psychologi-cal books often confuse the problem by dividingpeople into categories of emotional subnormality.

But it springs from the awarenessor the knowl-edgeof who you are, of what God thinks of you,of what He provided for you, of what He plannedfor you in life.

Faith comes by hearing the word of God.Rom.10:17

Faith is your desire turned heavenward.Prayer is your desire expressed Godward.

Action, based on knowledge, is your desirehooked up to a method for achievement. It is as-serting your right to be, to have, to dowhateveryou desire that is good for God, for you and forpeople.

God is trusting us to discover His laws of suc-

cess, to discipline ourselves as His family mem-bers, and to become the material empire build-

ers of His world.When Jesus Christ becomes Lord in any life,

that man or that woman is then a member ofGods family, of divine royalty, of Gods kingdomor domain, and His seat of authority and actionis then headquartered in that person.

No one in Gods family was ever destined toexist in the prison of sickness or of fear, of igno-rance or of poverty, of loneliness or of mediocrity.

what inspires me is to think about how muchfaith God has in us. He created us like Himself,then when we disappointed Him, He paid torestore us back to Him.
