Use STORM-PASS® Precast Attenuation and Storage Structures are recommended for underground stormwater control (attenuation, retention, and/or detention) installations where strength and small footprint are desired. They can incorporate outlet control, diversion, inlets, multiple pipe connections and various access risers, often eliminating separate adjacent inlets and structures. They can be designed to handle virtually any loading condition.
Sizes STORM-PASS® sections are modular and can be sized for any site.
Application
STORM-PASS® Precast Attenuation and Storage Systems can be used for the following: ● storm water detention ● storm water retention ● overflow chambers ● grit/settlement chambers ● shallow cover ● deep bury ● airport loading ● terminals ● under parking garages & loading zones
Joints
Provided with tongue and groove joints for packing with mastic joint compound, preformed gaskets, closed cell neoprene gaskets, or other approved sealants.
Applicable Specifications
The following specifications apply to STORM-PASS® Precast Attenuation and Storage Structures: ● ASTM C913 - Standard Specification for Precast Concrete Water and Wastewater Structures ● ASTM C890 - Standard Practice for Minimum Structural Design Loading for Monolithic or Sectional Precast Concrete Water and Wastewater Structures ● ASTM C1577 - Standard Specification for Precast Reinforced Concrete Monolithic Box Sections for Culverts, Storm Drains, and Sewers Designed According to AASHTO LRFD (when applicable or desired) ● State / Local stormwater requirements.
