We have met with Auckland Council to begin the private plan change process to rezone the land from its current Light Industrial zoning to Residential (a mix of Terraced Housing and Apartment Buildings and Mixed Housing Urban as per the zoning of surrounding land). Western Park Village Limited considers a zone change, and redevelopment of the land for housing, as the most sustainable outcome for the site. As part of this process we wish to engage with, and understand the views of, mana whenua. Please see attached letter for more details.
