Africa is located with it surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea, Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean.

Climate is tropical whichmeans amount of rainfall isunpredictable. (20-50 inchesper year)

North part of it are desertswhile central and southern parts are savanna.

Why is this biome important to me?

This biome can represent a perfect example for a food web. As we may know, African savanna are made up of different producers, lots of herbivores as well as numerous carnivores. This will be a great example for any lessons in school about ecosystem. All of the animals in this area have evolved into intelligent species that we people may study for more data to make information in the future.
