The Celpay Conader Project in DRC
• $4.7 mil contract with Conader, the DRC Agency for (Disarmament, Demobilization, Reintegration) in 2005
• Funded by World Bank & international donor community
• Celpay as payment platform to pay out $45m in cash to 75k demobilized combatants
• 3 phase projects:1. Development & Implementation of the Conader
application 2. $ 110 payments to Ex Combatant as incentive 3. $25 monthly payments to help start new lives.
