TENDER FOR ANNUAL MAINTENANCE cONTRACT OF BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEM

Indian Overseas Bank, Regional Office, Baroda invites sealed quotations from

Gujarat based vendors for ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT (NON

COMPREHENSIVE) of Burglar alarm systems installed in its 46 branches located in

and around Vadodara, Surat, Navsari, Anand, Nadiad, Valsad and Vapi.

The terms and conditions of the Annual Maintenance Contract are as under

The AMC will be valid for a period of one year with the condition that your technicians will complete the first visit to all the branches by 30th of the

starting month positively and reports should reach the bank within tenth of

SUCceeding month. Your technician will visit the Branch as and when required during the one

year period. Any number of complaints of break down/mal-functioning of

BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEM in any of the branches shall be attended by the

technicians FREE OF COSI during the contract period, for extra visit no

charges shall be paid. The call from the branches shall be attended

immediately. As the Annual Maintenance Contract is Non-comprehensive in nature. It is

mandatory on the pat of the vendor that they replace the defective parts of

the BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEM only after seeking consent of the Regional

Security Officer (RSO). If at any point of time it is found that vendor is deliberately asking the Branch

to replace the unit, the Bank reserves the right to review the contract.

Payment for AMC shall be made to you at the Regional Office after

completion of the contract period and reports are submitted to RSo. No

request for release of payment in between will be entertained.

Annual Maintenance Contract will be nontransferable and the firm will not appoint any sub-contractor or middleman to fulfill any obligations accepted

under the contract.

Bank reserves the right of termination of this AMC without assigning any reason anytime, if during the contract period services are found

unsatisfactory. Vendors having at least 05 years' experience in installation/repairing of

BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEM in Public Sector Banks may apply. Proof of the same

must be enclosed with the financial bids. Vendor must have one service centers/office in Vadodra & Surat city. Proof

of the same must be enclosed with the price quoted. The vendor should provide proof of having employed/deployed three

technicians exclusively for IOB. All these three technicians will be regulatedd

by Regional Security Officer according to the Branches'

requirement/complaint and Bank's requirement. With Our past experience, it was learnt that the technicians will be hired by

the firms, once the tender is llocated and most of the time these

technicians leave the job after some times, resultantly our operations come

to halt. In this regard, vendors to submit proof of technicians having

employed for last two years with their firm in Surat and Vadodara. Legitimate

proof is required to be submitted in this regard. The bank reserves the right to award the work in full or in parts or cancel the

tender without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Vendors may visit branches to ascertain exact nature of work, if feel so after

contacting Regional Security Officer over phone (8077987848).

The furnaround time for any rectification will be two days; any delay beyond fwo days will be fined with Rs 100/ per day.

The documents to be submitted in two separate envelopes "technical bid" and "financial bid"'.

*The Ll vendor will be decided based on the AMC cost but the vendor for the

new purchase wll be finalized after scrutinizing the Intrusion alarm details and

fhe best BAS/IAS will be negotiated further. Selection of BAS will be the sole

discretion of the Bank wherein quality, Price, warranty, AMC up

gradafion, Service, track record of the BAS and other factors ill be the

deciding factors for selecting a suitable BAS. Ifa vendor is found misleading the Branch for unnecessary replacing any par

in BAS, his contract will be concluded immediately after paying him on pro

rata basis. Vendors to submit an undertaking in this regard
