Hi there! We are students from Paxi the smallest of the seven Ionian Islands in Greece. This is our school. It is a small school with almost eighty students and twenty teachers. There are both Junior High school students and Lyceum students.

2This is our school library. There are a lot of books. We can visit it and borrow books. There is not a permanent librarian though, but our teachers are there to help us.

3In our School there is also a Computer lab and a Science lab.

4Our country is Greece. It is in the north of Europe. Greek is our national language. There are almost 11 million people in Greece.5

Our flagOur country is famous for its rich culture and History. You should visit the Acropolis and the Acropolis museum.6

Greece is surrounded by sea. It is also a holiday destination as there are many islands on the Ionian and the Aegean Sea. 7

The Ancient Olympic Games were religious and athletic festivals held every four years at the sanctuary ofZeusinOlympia, Greece. Competition was among representatives of severalcity-statesand kingdoms ofAncient Greece. Athens, the capital of Greece, hosted the Olympic games in 20048
