AIMS AND SCOPES
The conference objective is to create an interactive platform
for paddy and waterenvironment related researchers, scientists,
practitioners, policy makers and otherprofessionals from
Asia-Pacific Region and else around the world to share and
presenttheir novel advances, research findings, perspectives and
experiences in response to, butnot limited to, sustainable water
and environmental management.
CONFERENCE THEMES
The conference pivots on the general theme Sustainable Water and
EnvironmentalManagement in Monsoon Asia accompanied with the
following focal topics:
Topic 1: Sustainable water use and ecologically sustainable
developmentTopic 2: Development of rural society with water in
AsiaTopic 3: Establishment of sustainable paddy farmingTopic 4:
Integrated watershed managementTopic 5: Droughts and flood disaster
risk managementTheme of student sessions: Water and environmental
management
CALL FOR PAPERS
Authors are invited to submit abstracts and/or papers to a
scientific committee of theconference who will be responsible for
evaluating the submitted abstracts and papers.The notification of
acceptance will be dispatched after the decision making from
thescientific committee. The authors of accepted abstract and/or
papers are then requestedfor full papers. Only accepted papers will
be published in the proceedings. Studentsessions will be operated
separately. The organizing committee considers few selectedfull
papers to be published after peer-review in the international
journal of PADDY ANDWATER ENVIRONMENT (ISSN print edition:
1611-2490; ISSN electronic edition:1611-2504). The conference
proceedings can be collected at the registration desk.
Instruction for authorsAuthors are requested to submit abstracts
of their papers in Adobe PDF version orMicrosoft Word version. The

Abstract should be written in English within 250 words excluding
the title of the paper,author name(s), affiliation(s), and
keyword(s) that should be displayed at the top of thepage. Indicate
the type of presentation (oral or poster) and session (general or
student)above the title of the paper at the top left corner.
LANGUAGEThe official language of the conference will be English.
All abstracts, papers and postersshould be submitted in
English.
