GCS is Christian…

Paw Prints Newsletter Friday, September 29, 2017

Mission: Educational Excellence in a Christ-centered Environment.

Galesburg Christian School, working together with the home and church, provides a Christ-centered

spiritual, academic, and physical foundation in a nurturing environment to produce citizens who will be a

transforming influence in their world

Vision: The vision of Galesburg Christian School is the pursuit of academic, spiritual and extra-curricular

excellence that produces servant leaders through the integration of faith and learning.

Fall Banquet is Thursday, October 26 at 6pm. Join us at the Lake Storey Pavilion for an evening of dining

enjoyment with friends and family, entertainment, and testimony. Our theme, “It Takes a Community”, is

fitting this year as we acknowledge the true meaning of that phrase. It has taken a community of people

committed to our GCS ministry who have contributed time, money, and prayer support to ensure the new

elementary building and playground projects were accomplished. On this night, we will celebrate these

accomplishments and our record enrollment of 158 students! We want to add to our community by

encouraging you to invite family or friends who you think would benefit from hearing stories and messages

about our Christian school ministry. Guests could include other parents who have or will have school age

children, potential donors, or pastors who would gain more confident in recommending GCS to their

congregations. Additionally, there is still time to place an ad in our banquet program. Download the form from

our website, www.galesburgchristian.org, call us at 343-8008 or email [email protected].
