hINTS & TIPS Surface Preparation: Correctly preparing the surface is the most important step when using Pascol Paving and Concrete Paints. This is an integral part of the process that will allow you to achieve an amazing, long-lasting finish. It is crucial that you adhere to all the detailed instructions on the label before you start the project.

New Concrete: New concrete surfaces must be left to cure for at least four to six weeks before applying Pascol Paving and Concrete Paints.

Previously Painted Concrete:

• Pascol Paving and Concrete Paints can be applied to concrete surfaces that have been previously painted. Following the instructions provided on the label will guarantee your chosen surface is in a perfect state to be repainted.

• All loose, peeling or flaking material must be removed before application. Sand gloss or semi-gloss enamel surfaces until gloss is removed.

Application Information:

• When painting the surface it is imperative not to apply too much at once. Adhere to the coverage level on the label to achieve the best result. Remember two coats of paint are better than one thick layer.

• When applying paint it is best to work in section of 1 to 2 square metres at a time.

• Depending on whether you are working in cooler or humid climates, allow the paint to dry for longer periods. In some cases allow for double the allocated drying time.

• To guarantee the correct consistency of paint colour throughout the applying process, box and combine your required amount of paints that will be needed to complete the project.

• Avoid painting driveways and paths during the heat of the day, as this may prevent penetration and adhesion of the paint.
