S omething extraordinary happens when four male voices sing in flawless harmony, with their hearts humbled in unity, spreading the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ! Yes, something wonderful happens when Paul’s Journey walks onto a church platform or concert stage and blesses the audience with their music and their testimony. Rod Treme, Manager and bass, began this full-time ministry as the “Relations Quartet” more than 32 years ago. The name change to “Paul’s Journey” is a statement of their mission, found in Acts 15:36. Three extremely talented young men join Rod in the quest for souls - lead singer Ryan Napier, baritone Chad Stephenson, and tenor Randall Garland. The quartet sings at least 230 dates annually across the nation and has won many awards, plus their songs regularly chart on gospel radio. Their current single, Grace Is Never Far, on the Sanctuary label, is in heavy rotation. Howard and I were guests of Paul’s Journey at a concert a few weeks ago at Magnolia, Texas, their headquarters. The fabulous program was a tribute to the classic quartets and included a media presentation of the pioneer groups like the Blackwood Brothers and Statesmen. Their performance proved this quartet of young men can sing those great old songs as well as their regular program that is designed for a younger audience. Family is a priority with each member of the group, and we loved spending time with their wives and seeing their beautiful children. We were reminded again how blessed we are to be “called” to travel this gospel road, and how wonderful it is to have these men of excellence, Paul’s Journey, sharing the journey. www.paulsjourneyonline.com Paul’s Journey: Rod Treme, Chad Stephenson, Ryan Napier, and Randall Garland Paul’s Journey, in traditional suits and hairstyle for the concert of classic songs of the past 32 Christian Voice
