This team offers home bible studies, hospital and home visits, shut-ins visits, baptisms, and any encouragement needs. This team also offers

general maintenance duties - such as minor home/yard work and heavy lifting.

On-Going Events

SUNDAY MORNING: Bible Classes for all ages at 9:15a.m.. Donuts and coffee are provided in the kitchen before and after class. Worship Service at 10:15. Headsets for Spanish translation

are provided during Worship Service.

CHILDRENS BIBLE HOUR:

Bible Hour for young children is located in the large classroom next to the kitchen. An announcement will be made to dismiss the children to the classroom.

SUNDAY EVENING SMALL GROUP STUDY:

Please see the insert for our “In the Word” Sunday Evening/Afternoon Bible Study locations. Group leaders are available for more information.

SKY VALLEY WORSHIP & BIBLE STUDY:

4:00pm starts the combined Worship Service/In The Word Bible Study for the DHS/Sky Valley areas.

LADIES’ TUESDAY BIBLE STUDY:

Please join us for an uplifting study and fellowship with other women of faith every Tuesday morning from 10-11:30am. The current study is on the book of Psalm.

MEN’S WEDNESDAY MORNING PRAYER:

Wednesdays at 7:30a.m., the men meet at the church building for prayer and then go out for breakfast.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASSES: Wednesday Bible Class at 6:00p.m.

It’s almost October. You know what that means? The snowbirds are coming back to roost for the winter. Wasn’t it wonderful to see Mary Jo Biggers last week and Larry and Rhonda Fisk, Gilbert and Diane Garcia and many others who are here or will soon be here. It is a wonderful homecoming to share a hug with someone we haven’t seen for a while. This is one of my visions of heaven: A place where we are surrounded by people we love and who love us. It is that special love that Jesus kept talking about when he said to love one another. 1 Thessalonians 4:9 Now about your love for one another we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other. May we be taught by God to love each other even more.

Josué para llegar a la tierra prometida, las frustraciones de Moises con los Hebreos, etc... A veces pienso que hoy en día vivimos las mismas batallas, enfermedad, tristeza, abandono, deseo por alcanzar nuestro bienestar, conducta desordenada de nuestra sociedad o de nuestros

hijos. Quizás Dios nos dejó esas historias para que sirvieran de reflexión y pensáramos detenidamente con atención y cuidado lo que habría de venir. Ps 5:1-3 Mi rey y mi Dios, escucha con atención mis

palabras; toma en cuenta mis súplicas, escucha mi llanto, pues a ti diri-jo mi oración. Tan pronto como amanece te presento mis ruegos, y quedo esperando tu respuesta. En tu palabra tengo mi esperanza.
