Design Keep it simple 2 columns better than 1 Be consistent

Use second colour for nameplate, titles, subtitles, “sidebar” boxes, graphs, drawings etc.

If funds limited, print nameplate on blank sheets in advance

Body text Use serif type (eg, Times New Roman) Not sans serif (eg, Arial) or italics (hard to read)

Titles One type family for body text, one for titles Keep titles short – one line is best, two lines max Don’t use ALL CAPITALS Don’t use SPECIAL EFFECTSSPECIAL EFFECTS
