As a medium-sized, family-owned companywe continue, as we have always done in thepast, to manufacture stand-alone machinesand fit complete systems from the handling andprocessing of bulk materials to the final product.
Our extensive expertise in the field of milland plant construction, our proximity tocustomers and a mobile workforce allhave their roots in the company’s history.

Our products are used in a broad rangeof applications. We supply the foodstuffsindustry and the grain industry, as well asnon-food industries.With experience gained over generations,we select the best and most economicalsolution for our customers, irrespectiveof the usual solutions.
We have both large and small customersand all of them receive the same courtesyand care.
Together with his daughter Christel, he setup the company in Neumünster in 1948after he had had to leave the business hefounded in the 1920’s in Pomerania.
The young company quickly became wellrespected for the repair of old mills andthe building of new ones.
Success demanded more space so in 1960,the firm moved to new premises in Elmshorn.In 1965 Paul Groth’s daughter, Christel Diness,took over the management of the business.Together with Master Miller Detlef Wiese,she competentlycontinued her father’slegacy. ChristelDiness’s daughter,son and son-in-law(Annette, Niels andAndreas Diness)joined the family-owned business inthe early 90’s. In 1997Christel Diness turnedthe company over to her children. Niels andAndreas Diness took over the managementof the company. With the support of highlymotivated employees, the company hasbecome even more strongly establishedin the field of mill and plant construction.
