Dear Friends and Supporters, We are ever grateful to God for your partnership in the Gospel. We could not be out there without you. You have part in those who were trained in the Gospel, those who hear and those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. We had lost our best location in Downtown Silver Spring, but God has opened it back up for us through a court case brought forth by a friend in the ministry. This spot has been a tremendous blessing for training people to share their faith and to reach people from the nations as Silver Spring is a multi ethnic location. On any given night our teams can be made up of people from as many as five dierent churches that are multi ethnic and multi generational. It is a beautiful display of the body of Christ working together to share the good news of the Gospel to people from around the world . A Word From the Mrs: From high humidity and low altitude, to no humidity and an elevation of a little more than six thousand feet, we had a power -packed, breath taking two weeks in Colorado. We had some really great kids clubs where as many as up to 40 kids came and heard the message of the Gospel. Working with the kids clubs in the government housing was very much dierent from our projects back home. It was a pure joy, as even the teenagers had such a great respect for the Gospel and what we are doing that they participated with EVERY aspect of the program. Many parents came out and even participated in some of the games. It was so touching to see even a group of teenagers get in their car quietly so as not to disturb the program.....wow, very touching! Although the kids clubs were very refreshing, there was a flip side to the coin. Colorado was not as hard as San Francisco (where we worked two summers ago) in an aggressive manner, but for the most part they were apathetic. In saying that, we were able to have a variety of conversations with people from all walks of life. Anywhere from poor people who lived on the streets, to a rich person who owned his own shipping company; from "born again atheists" to pantheists who say everything and everyone is god. In this discussion with the pantheist, when he was told what Jesus did on the cross for us, he suddenly turned his thinking by saying that Jesus was a man just like us......"but wait, I thought a few minutes ago you said everyone was a god." Although, none of the adults received Jesus as their personal Savior, we pray that they will ponder on the things they heard, and that lives will be changed. We had another great week of ministry this past June in Ocean City (OC), Maryland with Rockville Evangelical Mission Church (REM). We have been going to OC for over 20 years with youth teams. It is amazing how time passes and to think of all the times of ministry with all the dierent teens and the many people who have heard the good news there. It has been one of the greatest blessing of our lives. Please keep us in your prayers as we are commencing ministry on the universities in the area and in Langley Park with the Latin community. I also have ministry in Williamsburg and Richmond, VA, Northern California, and possibly Asia and Mexico coming up. P.S.
