Patricia “Patsy” Weir-McCleskey, 81, of Beaumont, died Thursday, June 27, 2019, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was born on February 3, 1938, to Bertha Coonce and William H. Harland.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Charles McCleskey, of Beaumont; sons, George Alan Weir and his wife, Kathy, of Lumberton; Michael Steven Weir and his wife, Lauren, of New Orleans, Louisiana; and Terry Lynn Gordy and his wife, Thanwarat, of Sulphur, Louisiana; daughter, Lillian McMillian and her husband, Jerry, of Vidor; grandchildren, George Alan Weir, Jr.; Krystan Bacevich

and her husband, Andrew; Sarah Judson; Chase Gordy; Colt Gordy; Anunya Gordy; Rattonapon Gordy; Amy Morrisette and her husband, Allen; great-grandchildren, Madeline Bacevich and Jack Bacevich, and Hannah Morrisette and Leah Morrisette.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, George Flint Weir; sister, Myrna Loy Ray; and brother, Bill Harland.

Patsy was an avid animal lover and she dedicated her time to volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She also had a lifelong commitment to God. She and Charlie took great pride in their yard when not traveling.
