On the edge of a cratered road, a cortège-like procession of women solemnly makes its way towards the village cemetery.

Takla, Amale, Yvonne, Afaf and Saydeh stoically brave the oppressive midday heat, clutching photographic effigies of their beloved menfolk, lost to a futile, protracted and distant war. Some of the women are veiled, others bear wooden crosses, but all are clad in black and united by a sense of shared grief.

As they arrive at the cemetery gates, the procession divides into two con-gregations; one Muslim, the other Christian. Set against the back drop of a war-torn country, ET MAINTENANT ON VA OÙ? tells the heart-warming tale of a group of women’s determination to protect their isolated, mine-encircled community from the pervasive and divisive outside forces that threaten to destroy it from within.

United by a common cause, the women’s unwavering friendship transcends, against all the odds, the religious fault lines which criss-cross their society and they hatch some extraordinarily inventive and of-ten comical plans, in order to distract the village’s menfolk and defuse any sign of inter-religious tension.

A series of chaotic incidents tests the women’s ingenuity as they manage, with sass, to successfully stave off the fall-out from the distant war. But when events take a tragic turn, just how far will the women go in order to prevent bloodshed and turmoil?

LAST PASSENGER is a contained yet kinetic thriller with a relentless momentum, melding suspense, action, and genuine heart to get audi-ence pulses racing - at 100 miles per hour.

Lewis Stevens (Dougray Scott) is an overworked doctor and devoted single dad heading home with his young son on the last train from London. When he strikes up a relationship with a beautiful and flirtatious stranger, Lewis believes life is finally looking up. But events then take a dark turn when Lewis discovers the guard has mysteriously vanished and the brakes have been sabotaged. Unknown to the handful of remaining passengers, a vengeful sociopath has taken control of the train and is hell bent on crashing it, taking his passengers with him to the grave.

As the speeding locomotive ploughs through stations and level crossings, the body count rises and panic turns to terror. Lewis realises that the police are powerless to stop the diesel-powered ‘slammer’ train, and the desperate passengers must find their own way out of this night-mare. Lewis takes the lead in a series of increasingly perilous missions to stop the train before the driver can realise his dark plan….

THE IRON LADY is a surprising and intimate portrait of Margaret Thatcher, the first and only female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

One of the 20th century’s most famous and influential women, she came from nowhere to smash through barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male dominated world.

This is a film about power and the price that is paid for power, a story that is both unique and universal.

THE IRON LADY stars Academy Award® winners Meryl Streep as Margaret Thatcher and Jim Broadbent as her husband, Denis.

Under a baobab tree, an old man tells a story to the children around him: the story of the everlasting friendship between Maki, a little boy aged 10, and Zarafa, an orphaned giraffe, a gift from the Pasha of Egypt to the King of France, Charles X.

Hassan, Prince of the Desert, is instructed by the Pasha to deliver Zarafa to France. But Maki has made up his mind to do everything in his power to stop Hassan from fulfilling his mission and to bring the giraffe back to its native land – even if it means risking his own life – because he must fulfill his promise to Zarafa’s late mother.

During an epic journey that takes them from Sudan to Paris, passing on the way through Alexandria, Marseille and the snow-capped Alps, they have many adventures, crossing paths with the aviator Malaterre, a pair of unusual twin cows called Mounh and Sounh, and the pirate queen Bouboulina.

Vincent Lindon and Alain Cavalier are pals. Like father and son. They sip port in bars dreaming of a film they might make. Together.

Then just once in a while, they don suit and tie. Play men of power. See how much trouble they can make. For a laugh. They tell a tall story, that’s part really personal, part, well - just plain tall.

Only, as ever at the movies, there’s that excellent question no one can answer: is it really all make-believe?
