AEROFLOAT MOVING BED BIOFILM REACTORProduct description - MBBR
Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) uses a fixed-film/attached growth biological treatment process used for municipal and industrial wastewaters.
A MBBR consists of a tank with suspended plastic bio-media. Due to the shape of the media there is a large surface area to assist with bacterial growth. Oxygen for the process is provided through air lances installed at the bottom of the reactor. Bio solids removal is provided by means of an Aerofloat DAF.

Why Aerofloat MBBR?
Oxygen for the process is provided through aeration lances installed at the bottom of the reactor.
Aerofloat has a patent pending design for its lances which allows them to be removed from the reactor while the process is still operating, without draining the tank or removing the bio media.
Treatment can be provided in durable, affordable covered polyethylene tanks.
