Pat The Hamburger’s Scary Journey Through The Digestive System

This girl’s name is Jane. She is very

hungry. She is going to buy a

hamburger and then she is going

home with that hamburger.

“Hello, my name is Pat and I am a c u t e h a m b u rg e r. To d a y something scary happened to me...”

Pat The Hamburger!

Jane picks Pat up and she starts to put Pat in her mouth. Pat is very scared. He sees Jane’s teeth, and red tongue. He feels wet when Jane eats him. Jane chews and swallows Pat.

“I see a dark thing,” says Pat. “It is the esophagus. I am in a narrow place and the muscles push me down.”

“Now I’m in the stomach. I am swimming in the gastric acid. It is burning me. The stomach is pushing me all the time. I see the liver now. I am  going to swim to the liver.”

“Oh my gosh! Ewww! The bile from the liver is very smelly and sticky and it burns

me. Ouch! It is very hot. It is breaking me into tiny pieces.”

“I’m in the

small intestine.

It is absorbing

a lot of my

body.

Pieces of my

body are

leaving now!”

“I’m so sad now. A lot of my body is gone. I’m getting dry and I feel bored. I have been sitting here for 12 hours and I’m thirsty.”

The Large Intestine

Yay! Finally I am out of here! I have

exited the anus and I am free! Free, but

WET. Where am I? This place is big and a

bit sticky. I don’t like it Whoa…(flush!)
