Scriptures for America Worldwide Ministry

It is with sadness,

(but also with joy) that we continue to an-nounce the passing of our dearly beloved, faithful and true Pastor Peter J. Peters, who went to that great rest and reward on July 7, 2011. His family and all of us here at Scriptures for America Ministry thank you for your prayers and words of encourage-ment during these past few weeks. We are saddened at his passing, but we know that, "Well done, my good and faithful servant," is his Heavenly reward. We want you to know that the Staff here at SFA is continuing on, full steam ahead, with the Ministry. Pastor Peters, in his wisdom, was able to share with each of us, and teach each of us here, his vision and plans for the continuance of Scriptures for America Ministry. The nightly LIVE radio broadcasts will continue and increase, bringing to you a Biblical perspective of the events of the day. There will be even more interesting guest inter-views, and our other programs such as Solutions, God's Home Health Care, and Coffee with the Radio Ranch Wranglers will continue as well. Remember that these programs are archived at the Network web-site, www.SFAWBN.com. We here are facing each day as our faithful Pastor would expect us to, being strong in the Lord and in the strength of HIS might. Read 2 Timothy 4: 7 & 8. We are thankful for and we ask each of the Acres of Diamonds Men to do the same - keep the faith, stay strong in the Lord, and be ready! In this Volume 7 DragonSlayer Newsletter, we hope to make a proper tribute to our Pastor by sharing with you a few things from his life and his

Ministry. He truly loved the Lord Jesus, and the Remnant as well, as his life work reveals. On the LIVE nightly radio broadcast of July 19, 2011, a two hour memorial radio program was held for our Pastor, and many were able to call in and share their thoughts of Pastor Peters and the impact he had in their lives. That broadcast is archived at the Min-istry website, scripturesforamerica.org, and the CD’s are available from SFA as well. As this newsletter is printed and mailed, a LIVE Sunday morning Church Memorial service is planned for July 31. This me-morial service will also be available on the DVD Church Ministry. We do ask that you keep this Ministry and all the saints associ-ated with it in your prayers, and know that we pray for you as well. Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support of this Ministry. We remain, in HIS Service... Still Stomping Snakes, The Staff at Scriptures for America Ministry

by Mrs. Nancy Peters One afternoon on the way home from church, when Pas-tor had been quite sick in the morning hours, I asked him what did he foresee if this is his time to leave us? He started to tell me that I would be alright, as he had made some provisions…and I stopped him saying, "No, Peter, not me, I am not talking about that, I am talking about what will happen to the Body of Christ, what do you see for the Church body?" We had been standing on faith that he would receive a healing, so it seemed a mute point to discuss life going forward without Pastor Peters. But having been through the loss of a hus-band once before, and wishing after that I could question him (along with some of the statements Pastor had been making), this wife became determined to ask him some things. As he was in thought, I continued to ask questions, "I mean, like who would take the pulpit, help guide us or hold us together?" He replied, "Well, that’s not my job to figure out, that’s Gods!" I replied, "Well, you have trained men, don’t you think if you offer no direction that might allow satan too much opportunity to hurt this Body and divide us?" He said, "Well, I need to think on that." I guess that is somewhat where the future of SFA started as the Pastor started offering his thoughts in the weeks that followed as the Staff worked to fill in some of the gaps. We had already been discussing the different talents of the Staff, and all the talents necessary to continue the Ministry are present here. There is preaching ability, some excellent teaching and writing talents, and even the capability to view things as Pastor did, all found in the capabilities of the Staff. The one thing Pastor had not figured out (at that time) is who would lead them, but that became evident in the following weeks to him. The following week as we were unloading the car at the church before the assembly, Pastor closed the car door on his wooden staff. He called me around to see what he had done and

my heart sank as I picked up four wooden pieces almost identical in length, and placed them in the back of the car where they re-mained through the service. Throughout the church service, it was difficult to ignore the ill feeling I had of his wooden staff, broken in four pieces. As we loaded the car after the services to return to the Radio Ranch, the one now called "Ramrod" discov-ered the broken staff, and took its four pieces to bind it back to-gether. By the evening of the men's meeting (only a few days later) our Pastor had his wooden staff again, bound together and stronger than ever. The one who was appointed "Ramrod" of SFA by our Pastor had a motto "to stand in the gap" while Pastor was here, and we know well it is no accident that our Pastor ap-pointed him as the new head of "The Staff @ SFA."

As we have been knit together by the blood of the Living God, Jesus Christ, we as one Body acknowledge: "And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations, and men of every language Might serve Him. His domin-ion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed." Daniel 7:14

Pastor’s Obituary Page 6

Peter John Peters was born November 13, 1946 in Ogallala, Nebraska to Alvin and Ruth Lynelle Peters. He had an older brother, Calvin, who he always loved, irritated and ad-mired. Pastor had what one would call a hard childhood, as his mother was very ill and eventually she would pass away when he was just 13. He was also hospitalized at a young age with polio and spent quite a few months in the hospital. Through these tri-als, he still held on to his sense of humor and wit, and was thank-ful for his Dad who raised him and whom he loved very much. Pastor Peters made it through high school, but not without his share of pranks and practical jokes. It is in high school he met Cheri and they were married, on October 3, 1965. Pastor and Cheri raised their two children, Monty and Jody. Pastor Peters then attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colorado where he received an Associate in Agriculture and Arts degree in 1967. He then attended Colorado State Uni-versity where he received a Bachelor in Science, majoring in Ag Business in 1970.

He worked for Farmers Home Administration in Montrose, Colorado. It is there, where after many silent prayers from his wife Cheri, that he felt led by God to become a preacher. Pastor Peters attended Bible College in Gering, Nebraska where he received a Bachelor of Sacred Literature

in 1976. He also received a Doctorate Degree from Saxon Uni-versity in 1997. The family returned to Colorado where he resumed work-ing for Farmers Home Administration, but also began pastoring a small church, which was meeting in the old fire department building. Many know this story of how there was a fire in the

fire department building they had been meeting in. But, Pastor Peters and many others were able to re-model it, and this is where he preached for the last 33 years. Pastor Peters authored dozens of pamphlets and books, and preached many thousands of sermons and messages during his preaching career. Pastor preached Truth, take it or leave it, like it or not. He truly loved the flock God had given him to shepherd. Pastor Peters had many trials in his life. Many need not be mentioned here. His father passed away unexpectedly, and then Cheri, his wife of 33 years, passed away October 18, 1998. Less than 15 months later, his only son Monty, at age 33, was killed in a single car accident. On July 6, 2002, Pastor surprised us all by marrying Nancy. His family was happy to see him full of life again. Nancy and the rest of his family were at his side, singing and praying, the night he passed away, on July 7, 2011.

Dear Sirs and brothers in Jesus Christ, I am left without words at the moment. Earlier today I felt a heaviness of sadness. I felt that somehow I had lost a dear friend!!!! But I know that Pastor Peters must be with the Father in Heaven in all His Glory, so I can't be sorrowful, only sad that Pastor isn't with us here in body, but we will ALWAYS remember Pastor Peters and his great service to the Lord Jesus Christ. - - - - - - - - I am grieved in Pastor Peters' passing, but rejoice that He is now with the Lord. I have regarded Peter as the "Elijah Spirit" be-fore the coming of the Son of Man, a man like no other on earth. I looked up to Him as a Preacher, Teacher, friend, and very much with the adoration of a son to a father. - - - Pastor Peters saved my miserable life through his Holy Spirit inspired ministry. He taught me so much. I know I`m not alone in mourning his death. But I will be seeing him again. Because I, too will be going over to the other side, (Mark 4:35) and be in the company of the great and the small (Luke 7:28). - - - - - - - - The boss went to see The Boss. This is with deep regret that I send this as Pastor Peters was and is the most important man in my life, as I have grown in the Grace and Knowledge of Jesus the Christ, and the deeper things of the Truth, as he drew me closer. The Lord of Hosts used him mightily, and what a privilege and Honor it was to learn and be taught by him. He has not left us empty.

We wanted to share with you some of the caring emails and comments that we have gotten in just these past couple of weeks, re-garding Pastor Peters and his Ministry, and the influence he had on these people, their families and lives. Praise Jesus!

The Holy Spirit had me tune in just as the broadcast was in-terrupted for the announcement of the Pastor’s passing. Self control, righteousness, and the coming judgment are what Pastor Peters has sharpened my focus on. He gave me a greater understanding of the Lord's Prayer. He introduced me to imprecatory prayer and much more. These are the life changing gems that will cause me to greatly miss the Pastor. - - - - - - - - Condolences to the pastor’s family for their loss. I truly know what they are going through and my heart hurts so bad and I feel their grief. I will continue to pray for their hearts to be com-forted. I will continue to listen faithfully to S.F.A. - - - - - - - - We were truly blessed to be taught by Pastor Peters, who taught truths (Lost tribes of the House of Israel, the solar calendar, Passover, weekly Communion, etc) that laid dormant for 2000 years, plus his emphasis on Acts 2:38 for baptism, and his revealing of the man of sin (Edom), plus other uncompromising Biblical truths. It is as God planned for Pastor Peters to be in our lives to bring us lost sheep back to the truths that Jesus Christ and the original Apostles taught.

I feel confident and encouraged that Pastor Peters surrounded himself with excellent Christian men and women to continue on the trail that Pastor Peters blazed for us. I am pleased that the programs shows will continue. - -

My sympathy to all you at the ministry, and of course the family. You all have your work cut out for you. Pastor chose good men to rely upon. My support of your work will continue, this is the TRUTH of CHRIST, and HIS work, which transcends men or per-sonalities. I owe my awakening to Pastor Peters, now you men there must continue on as we will all be suffering with the loss of the Pas-tor, nevertheless, he is with the LORD, and in that I rejoice. - - - - - - - - Let me first offer my most heartfelt condolences to the fam-ily and ministry at Scriptures For America for your recent losses. I have and will continue to hold each of the loved ones individually and the family and ministry collectively in my continuing prayers. God’s inspired word tells us in I Corinthians 2:9: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him." It was evident by the hardships, opposition, sacrifices, losses, outgoing love for God’s truths and his love for his spiritual family that Pastor Peters loved God without reservation. - - - - - - - - Fortunately I happened to hear Pastor Peters, and like so many others he not only helped me change my life but also those of my family. Over the years I have received many of his taped Bible studies and that helped me understand many of those scriptures that on the surface seemed contradictory. It has been my good fortune to

tithe and submit offerings to Scriptures for America, and I have no plans to change that. I will miss the Pastor, but I know that our Fa-ther is always right, even though we all mourn his passing. - - - - - - - - I have just heard the terrible news and am so very sad. He men-tioned my brother and I here in England on his tapes and published a letter but we were not fortunate to have ever met him. I wish we had. "We are of good courage, I say, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord." 2 Corinthians 5:8 Our thoughts and prayers are with you and his family. - - - - - - - - I loved him, what can I say, he helped open my eyes to who I really am. - - - - - - - - I have Pastor Pete to thank for so very, very much. I will be looking him up when I get to heaven for a long visit. I prize the let-ter he sent me a few years ago thanking me for being a blessing to his ministry. - - - - - - - - I’m saddened to hear about the passing of Pastor Peters. He taught us all a lot of truth, and I’m forever grateful. May God com-fort you in this time, and fill you with fire to continue the work.

Some thought’s crossed my mind as I'm hanging on every word from our Pastor. His enemies, our enemies will wish that Pastor Peters was back when they feel the lightning and hear the thunder leaving the pulpit from LaPorte. They had it easy with Pastor, they aint seen nothing yet. The day of the Lord events intensify and so too, shall the coming words from LaPorte intensify for our edification and for the enemies’ demise. If I may refer you to 2 Esdras 13: He reminds us, we are delivered safely from the intensify-ing wrath coming ahead of Our Sabbath that He brings at His return. Our eternal rest is on the horizon, We see it- Yes we do. - - - - - - - - I am going to miss you Pastor Pete. Your kindness and love has taught me a lot about life and our Lord Jesus Christ. You were a "man's man". You helped me to understand God's word and to raise five great kids. Thank you for Baptizing me for the forgiveness of my sins (Acts 2:38) in that freezing cold lake up in the high Sierra's in 1997. Rest in peace my great friend. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. - - - - - - - - My condolences regarding the passing of the late Pastor Pe-ter J. Peters, he will be greatly missed. My study group used his messages many times for our Wednesday night bible studies. His messages often inspired and educated me, this ministry has done great things. I will miss his words of wisdom and his charismatic style of preaching. The passion and truth in Pastor's sermons was refreshing and always a joy to tune into. I am glad to hear you hon-orable men will be continuing the works of Pastor Peters and the true word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May God Bless you all and give you the strength to continue the righteous fight of faith. Amen.

I was sad to hear the news and I too thought he would be with us to the end. I think now though that he has the better reward. He is now with his Lord, whom he loves dearly. In the book of Enoch it refers to those praising God in the heavens as being at a wonderful rest. It is well deserved. - - - - - - - - I'm sincerely sorry to hear of the passing of our dear brother, Pastor and mentor. I realize there is a time appointed for each of us and this is one appointment we all will keep, but it is never easy. My prayers are with the family and with all the ministry workers. You can count on me to continue my support… - - - - - - - - In the year 2000 I was baptized… since 1999 SFA and Pas-tor’s messages filled my home. He helped me get rid of the Jezebel spirit. He helped me see myself as a woman of God. We grieved with him with many losses of his family and his ministry friends but he went on. He said on June 12, "After my sabbatical, I will come back twice as strong." We have to come back twice as strong. Yes, I was on his shirt tail also. I was humbled so many times and through Pastor, I am a better person because he knew where Jesus wanted me to be. - - - - - - - - I wish you all the best and give you our deepest sympathy. My family and I will greatly miss Pastor Peters. I had followed Pastor Peters since the mid 1980's. He was and will continue to be a special Shepherd unto me. He helped me gain insight and answers into many questions that the apostate church had left me with. - - - - - - - - I am sad to learn the loss of a great man. I started listening to him several years ago on shortwave after losing my job months be-fore and going through surgeries. Something told me to turn the dial on my radio, and I fumbled around on my radio and found him speaking to my ears. His messages grabbed me, and I listened. His messages shall live on. GOD BLESS THAT MAN!! - - - - - - - -

I will always remember the first night I heard a voice awaken me from my sleep on my shortwave radio that had been left on saying, "Greetings to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." That was I believe late 1998, no more than about 5 months or so from my Baptism, that the Lord led me to Peters’ Ministry. From that night on I was hooked, followed and supported the Ministry and still plan on both spiritually and financially supporting it Lord willing. To you Gentlemen, stand in the gap and press on just as the Lord Jesus expects you to do, so does Peter Peters. Our prayers go out to all of you and to the flock that everyone shall stand strong in the Lord and that the Ministry shall grow in His grace and knowl-edge. - - - - - - - - What a joy & blessing to hear Pastor Peters share God's Holy Word with us all these years. Celebration of Life is so diffi-cult for non-believers to understand. Rejoice for Pastor Peters is

with our Lord. You have recordings of his mes-sages, PLEASE continue playing these for one is always learning & grow-ing in the Lord's Word. - - - Our greatest sympathy and prayers are being given to each of you. Pastor Peters, I wholly admit, was not a favorite person of mine when I first heard him. But every time he spoke my questions were an-swered. And with each answer that was given and insight that drove me deeper into the Word of God, the more I found

myself really liking the Pastor. The more I found myself praying for him and the ministry, and I will continue to pray for the ministry. - - - - - - - - I have the greatest appreciation for his service and it is due to his service, his faithfulness and his continual walk with God that has helped me strive to the same. I pray God's peace, direction, con-tinual protection over the ministry and all those that are involved. That He will expose those that are not His and protect those that are His. - - - - - - - - I have listened to him on short wave for years at night before bed. Powerful speaker on the side of Christ JESUS. Very few like him out here and I will miss THE POWER OF HIS WORDS, SO TRUE AND NEEDED TODAY IN THIS TIME RIGHT BEFORE THE COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BACK TO SET UP HIS KINGDOM THAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR… - - - - - - - - My mother and I have been regular listeners for some time. The news of his death was a shock to us. Pastor Peters was unique in not only his real and genuine belief but also his courage to speak truth. He will be sorely missed. - - - - - - - - My heart groans for the loss of my Pastor. I loved him dearly and I will so very much miss him... I hope Mrs. Peters and family are doing fine and I will keep them in my prayers, as well as the Radio Ranch Wranglers... I know that you all will keep the min-istry going and will keep preaching the truth... God bless all of you and strengthen and encourage you to stand firm. - - - - - - - - It was with great sadness that we heard about the passing away of our beloved Preacher and Brother in Christ. We know that we were one in the Holy Spirit with him... For us, we lost a dear Pas-tor whom we learned to know over the last year. We thank the Lord for the grace He bestowed on us for having the opportunity to learn from Pastor Peters and for being part of a congregation again. - - - - - - - -

My heart is heavy and sorrowful as I mourn the loss of my/our Pastor, but I have joy in the knowledge that he was a faithful servant/preacher/teacher/prophet, one whom the Lord will raise up to live and reign with Him forever. It was due to Pastor Peters' preaching/teaching on Acts 2:38 that I repented and went down into the watery grave of baptism and was raised up a new born babe in Christ Jesus. I did so on my 39th birthday… - - - - - - - - Dear Brothers from "LaPorte Church of Christ" many thanks for the circular! With pain we read "Pastor Pete Peters" from the death of our faithful brother! But his work becomes weiterleben! (lives on, survives…) Our sir doesn't leave his faithful people alone! - - - - - - - - I am grateful that I became aware of his ministry through my old country barber about 9 years ago. No one could bring out the truth in the scriptures more clearly than Pastor Peters. I especially and my wife also have learned so much from his ministry. I believe Pastor Pete was our modern day Moses. He was chosen to lead the modern day saints to the Promised Land. Surely we could not have come this far without him. - - - - - - - - Hello Wranglers, Pastor Peters is a man I knew as a voice for the majority of my life. The voice I heard my Daddy listen to every night before bed on tapes, the voice that taught my Dad about the Lord and taught me. Three of the most important days in my en-tire life, have Pastor in them. The day…when my Dad and I drove from Tennessee for him to be Baptized - I remember what a special and wonderful day for my Dad. The second was… when I came up and was baptized myself. And … when my husband came up to be baptized. I feel very blessed to have had our Pastor take part in those days. I, like anyone else, have had losses and hurts. But when I lost my Dad in 2008, I didn't know at times how I could go on. There were days I didn't think I could, but I'd turn on the Pastor and always it seemed, he'd be teaching and preaching on the very thing I needed to know and hear and learn. It seemed at times like he had a

direct line to my thoughts and pain and was helping me personally. That is something I won't ever for-get because between the strength I was blessed with from the Lord, and the wisdom the Pastor preached...I was able to go on and heal and be stronger and most im-portantly, learn to serve the Lord better and draw nearer to him. It changed my life in many ways. And right after God, first and fore-most...I thank Pastor Peters for that. - - - - Our sadness is joined with the rejoicing that Pastor Peters has indeed, kept the faith and fought the good fight....to the end. We look forward to meeting him in person, when our time comes as well:-) Please keep in mindful spirit, that there are many of us out here who were 'lost' sheep, but are now 'found' through the preaching of Pastor Peters and the gift of the Holy Spirit, from God the Father through His Son, Jesus Christ. Be strong in the faith, vigilant in the course, and aware of the enemies of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They never tire of frustrating our course. Thank you for your continuing ministry, and our prayers and support is with you. We are all in this fight together. - - - - - - - - Pastor Peters was on the radio when I REALLY needed di-rection in my life. Perhaps I was seeking and I looked in the right place, somehow guided by God!!! He connected so many dots, and put in so many missing pieces in the puzzle !!!! My greatest admiration and gratitude to Pastor Peters is his absolute conviction and hate of the enemy. The Pastor was not afraid to denounce the enemy openly and truthfully to the best of his ability. Let not his death be in vain....The Pastor was on to some-thing...Something he may not have understood himself, yet the Glory of God will be revealed... - - - - - - - - I do know that I was at one of the lowest points in my life when someone put a cassette in my hand called, "A Cowboy's View on Terrorism"...and I have not been the same since. Then when I did reach the lowest point of my life, when I found myself alone,

physically challenged, broke and living on the side of the road, all be-cause of my love for God… Pastor Peters and all of you showed me what I had always be-lieved life was supposed to be like. Family, faith, kindness, devotion to God and to each other. - - -

Thank You Pastor Peters for bringing us out of the darkness. Prayers for the Angels to bring comfort and peace go out to your family... Revelation 21:4 "and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away." - - - - - - - - Pastor Peters had been a part of my life. First saw him on his Truth for the Times TV program and kept up with him thereafter on shortwave radio and then on the internet. I always watch the Sun-day service. I assure you that I will keep you all in my prayers in the days ahead. Pastor Peters sure picked a stalwart group of men to carry on his work and I'm sure he'll be watching down from Heaven cheering you on.

My heart goes out to Pastor Peters family. My family too has gone through a terrible loss this past April. My father lost his battle with lung cancer. Pastor Peters was with my Dad every step of his fight. Each time he was hospitalized we would bring him his short-wave radio so he could listen to his sermons. Pastor Peters taught my father a lot. In turn made for wonderful weekly Bible lessons at their house. My Dad was our teacher, taught us more things then I could name. One of the things I have learned recently is NEVER lose your FAITH in the LORD. He will never leave you in your hour of need. HE has helped me get through losing the most impor-tant man in my life. Losing a parent is a very hard thing to do. Each day that passes makes me miss him even more. Thank you Pastor Peters for teaching us the way to GOD. Thank you for comforting my father, when he was probably scared. The enemy took his lungs, there was no other way to scare him. May the Lord Bless you and keep you and shine His light upon you. - - - - - - - - Please know that Pastor helped my late husband grow & find truth that helped plant his feet on solid ground. Pastor Peters’ preaching & teaching answered the questions that had kept him from fully trusting in GOD'S word. I felt that I finally was hearing truth when we heard SFA for the first time. I am so saddened for all of us who have come to love Pastor Peters, I know he will be missed. I am thankful to GOD that we had truth given to us in a way we could receive it. I look for-ward to meeting Pastor Peters one bright morn-ing. I hope SFA contin-ues. (from the Staff at SFA - We ARE continu-ing on, in Snake Stomp-ing tradition, to the glory of Jesus Christ!)

Our Pastor understood well the Apostle Paul's words found in Philippians

1:23 But I am hard-pressed from both directions, having the desire to depart and

be with Christ, for that is very much better; Philippians 1:23

Pastor simply was not afraid to face death yet for some years now he fought hard, as many of you know, to keep his health to stay with us. "…yet to remain on in the flesh is more necessary for your sake. And convinced of this, I know that I shall remain and con-tinue with you all for your progress and joy in the faith, so that your proud confidence in me may abound in Christ Jesus through my coming to you again." Philippians 1:24-26 Nine years ago Pastor Peters had a book marker in his Bi-ble (in which I hope to find in his office) that explained well the

benefits of sorrow. It read something to the effect of how sorrow plows deep into the soul, making it ready for joy greater than could be known without deep sorrow. One of Pastor’s favorite verses is found in Romans 8:18, where the Apostle Paul said, "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not wor-thy to be compared with the glory that is to be re-vealed to us."

It is no secret to all who knew our Pastor well that he experienced more sorrows on this earth than almost any man most us have ever personally known. However, there was no question that our beloved Pastor HAD GOD'S FAVOR! I believe the years and years of ser-mons and radio broadcasts are proof of this, as most of his work is timeless for this age. So I invite you all to consider the prayer of King David with me, found in Psalm 17:8-9, in which I have modified to fit Peter John Peters. I believe King David himself would be pleased to apply it to Pastor Peters. "Keep him as the ap-ple of Thy eye. Hide him under the shadow of Thy wings, from the wicked who oppressed him, from our deadly enemies. Keep him as the apple of Thy eye.” Yes, the enemies of Jesus Christ who worked to oppress our Pastor most likely have not stopped wag-ging their tongues, but it is just as certain that Jesus can use it to draw more who be-long to the Body of Christ to us as it always did while Pastor was here. It is also certain that Jesus will protect us from our deadly enemies. Pastor Peters’ and my hope for the remaining Body of Christ did not end when he joined the army in the heavens on the 7th day of July. Therefore the second verse of the prayer of King David I have modified as a petition for the remaining members of the Body of Christ on earth. "Keep us as the apple of Thy eye. Hide us under the shadow of Thy wings, from the wicked that oppress us, from our deadly enemies, keep us as the apple of Thy eye."

July Prayer

Page 22

Prayer for the Scriptures for America Gideon-Elite Prayer Warriors July 2011

This new prayer will serve the remnant saints who still pray, for June and July, 2011. It is based on Psalms 21:7-13. For the king trusts in the LORD, And through the lovingkind-ness of the Most High he will not be shaken. Your hand will find out all your enemies; Your right hand will find out those who hate you. You will make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger; The LORD will swallow them up in His wrath, And fire will devour them. Their offspring Thou wilt destroy from the earth, And their descen-dants from among the sons of men. Though they intended evil against Thee, And devised a plot, They will not succeed. For Thou wilt make them turn their back; Thou wilt aim with Thy bowstrings at their faces. Be Thou exalted, O LORD, in Thy strength; We will sing and praise Thy power. It is an appropriate "Day of the Lord" prayer in this present part of the Day of the Lord that we are in. Our Lord's warfare weap-ons are many; tornadoes and fires being just a couple of them. The parable of the tares and the wheat in Matthew 13 is an end-of-an-age event story, and Psalms 21:7-13 ties into it. IMRECATORY PRAYER We, Your faithful remnant, trust in You, Lord Jesus Christ, our King Who art Most High. Through You we will not be shaken. Find with Your mighty hand all our enemies, Yours and ours, for we are all one together in Your body. We hate those You hate, and those who hate You. Make them a fiery oven in Your anger and in this day of Your wrath, and devour them with fire. Devour their off-spring from the earth, and their descendants from among mankind. Let their evil and devious plots not succeed. Make them turn back. Aim with Thy bowstring at their face for a good head shot. Be Thou exalted, O Lord, in Thy strength. We will sing and praise Thy power. In the Name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.

The Family’s Promise

Page 23 Scriptures for America DragonSlayer Volume 7, 2011

Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy,

For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth

to the departed spirits. Come, my people, enter into your rooms,

And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while,

Until indignation runs its course. For behold, the LORD is about to come out

from His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity;

And the earth will reveal her bloodshed, And will no longer cover her slain.
