Pastel Pencils are amazing coloring pencils that give you the control of colored pencils and combines it with the blendability of chalk pastels. And they’re pretty forgiving of mistakes, too!

Supplies: - Pastel (Chalk) Pencils- Stamped or Digital Images to Color- Cotton Swabs- Pencil Sharpener- Spray Fixative- Eraser

Step One:Select colors to use in the individual areas, some light and some dark. Use one of the darker colors near the stamped/printed lines.

Step Two:Use a lighter-colored pencil in a coordinating color next to the original color.

Step Three:Use the cotton swab to blend the colors from the darkest colors to the lightest color and into the white space.

Step Four:Repeat color application in other areas.

Step Five:If too much color is added, use the eraser to remove it.

Step Six:Continue adding color to all of the areas as desired.

Step Seven:Color may also be blended using fingertips (especially in large open areas).

Step Eight:Once color has been added as desired, use the fixative to set the color.
