All visa applicants must meet the requirements of the UK immigration rules; a contact point for the applicant to query or raise complaints to VFS Global and UKVI is provided. This is an active email account that the applicant can access on a regular basis; it is the applicant’s responsibility that the passport on which the application is based has sufficient validity left to allow for UKVI processing and for the applicant to travel to the UK or territories applied for; should the applicant lose their passport they should inform the VAC immediately. Lost passports may require the applicant to withdraw their application with loss of visa fee and/or PP fee, and submission of a new visa / PP application with the replacement passport. [VFS will inform UKVI who in turn should decide whether to defer the visa application process pending a new PP passport copy or that the applicant should withdraw their application without recourse to refund]; any loss of receipts or unique reference numbers for the PP service may damage the application and any PP fee would not be refunded. b. make the Website available uninterrupted. we cannot guarantee that we will do so. 4. Subject to Paragraphs [1 and 2] above, our liability shall in no circumstances exceed the

total Fee paid to Us by You. 5. UKVI may refuse your application if you fail to respond to our reminders to submit your

passport; these reminders will be given by us on the following basis: a. For non settlement applications: on the 10th working day after submission, you

will be notified by VFS that you are required to submit your application by the 20th working day after submission.

b. For settlement applications: you will be notified by VFS that you are required to submit your application once the Entry Clearance Officer has assessed your application. You will have 4 weeks to submit your passport from that date.

6. There will be no refund of the fee if your application is refused.

7. VFS will not be made aware of the outcome of the visa application.
