Content Passion

• Although I am not teaching yet, I believe my favorite subject to teach will be animal science. Of the animal science courses that I will be teaching, I think that my favorite will be equine science or livestock production as I am very familiar with horses and goats.

Within your subject matter, what are you passionate about teaching? In other words, of all the topics and standards you teach as part of your curriculum, which are the ones you most enjoy?

Professional Passion

• Within agricultural education, I am passionate about giving students opportunities that they would not normally have. As a future educator, I look forward to watching as students break out of their shell and accomplish their goals.

Within your profession, but not specific to your subject matter, what are you passionate about? What is it about being an educator that drives you? What ignites a fire inside of you?

Personal Passion

• My passions include horseback riding, showing and breeding goats. I love barrel racing and training my horses to cross into a multitude of different events and enjoy going trail riding as well.

My goats also are my other passion. Nothing makes me happier than watching my goat kids play or selecting does to breed to a specific buck just to see the quality of kids that are produced. Showing goats is one of my favorite activities as it allows me to learn more about goats while still taking pride in my animals.
