Parts of the Sewing Machine

#1 Bobbin
Round metal spool which holds the bottom thread.
#2 Bobbin Case
Holds the bobbin and regulates bottom tension
#3 Needle Stitch Plate
The place where seam guide-
lines are located.
#4 Feed Dogs
Teeth that move the
fabric through
the machine.
#5 Presser Foot
Holds the fabric in
place while you
sew.
Presser Foot
Holds the fabric firmly in place against the feed dogs.
To change feet push the red button on the
back while foot is up. The old foot will fall off.
Place new foot under the leg so that the pin is directly under the groove on the leg.
Lower the leg and it will grab onto the new foot.
Presser Foot Lifter
Raises and lowers the
presser foot.

Carries the thread and pierces the
fabric.
