they’ve learned to appreciate the Word of God as truth. Being very community oriented, they always include their unsaved family in their meetings and talk openly about their new faith. The old stories which were once so venerated now are questioned, and they are finding the answers to life issues in the Bible. Reading is still not important to them, so it

introduces a new way of learning truth and it is not easy for them. Pray that they would hold God’s Word in such high esteem that it would become a key part of how they live their lives.

Harvesters Reaching the Nations (HRTN) Yei and Terekeka, South Sudan In the world's newest nation, in a country decimated by a 50 year civil war, this

partner has established 2 orphanages, and one of the top schools in the country

along with a second under construction. The Women's and Children's Hospital

established less than a year ago is already providing unprecedented care in a

Sahaara Charitable Society, Mumbai, INDIA

Sahaara is the “Hands of Jesus” ministry of Gateway Ministries

International churches. With 80+ full time staff along with scores

of volunteers, Sahaara looks after orphans, teaches street kids,

runs Balwadis for 400 slum children (Balwadis are non-formal

preprimary schools), ministers to prisoners in 6 prisons, and to

children from 7 remand homes (homes for juvenile prisoners),

carries out computer training for prisoners in 4 prisons, and adult

literacy classes, runs 6 drop-in centers for commercial sex work-

ers (CSW's), ministers to eunuchs, to school drop outs, to the

visually challenged, and to those affected by Hanson’s disease

(lepers). Sahaara also runs half-way homes for ex-prisoners, and
