SIRONA DENTAL SYSTEMSWith the ECOSIT® procurementsystem, Böllhoff regularly supplies thenumerous unloading points in thecustomer’s production with mostdifferent DIN parts, parts as perdrawing, fastening technologies of ourown production as well as with otherC-parts. In practice, the customers’process costs were considerablyreduced.

B. BRAUN MELSUNGENThe Böllhoff supply system at B. Braunis provided with “SmartBin® technology“.The items to be stored and managedare filled into containers and boxes atthe customer’s premises. Each of theseboxes is placed on electronic scaleswhich serve as a weight detector. Everyday, Böllhoff checks their weight onlineand thus ascertains the current on-sitestock at B. Braun. As soon as the

calculated stock in a box drops belowthe defined replacement limit, the itemsare automatically ordered and supplied.With SmartBin®, B. Braun has reducedstorage area, storage costs as well asprocurement costs and moreover bene-fits from the multiple evaluation options.

FRESENIUS MEDICAL CAREOn the premises of Fresenius MedicalCare in Schweinfurt, Germany, Böllhoffhas conducted a technology forum pre-senting services, products and systemsrelevant for Fresenius. At the beginningof the event, Fresenius employeesgathered information relating to thecurrent situation of the fastening andassembly technology at technicallectures which had been tailored to the

participants’ needs. They thus gainednew impulses as well as approaches totheir projects. After the technicallectures, live presentations were held. Atthose presentations, participants weremade more familiar with the diverseBöllhoff services, products and systemsand moreover benefited from discus-sions of different solutions with Böllhoffexperts. During their partnership, withthe ECOTECH service, Böllhoff has

already realised several projects of appli-cation engineering in cooperation withFresenius. Special tapping screws arefor example used in different compo-nents of the devices to reduce thenumber of different parts as well asassembly times and costs at the sametime increasing process reliability.
