7 no. sheets of Marine ply 8’ x 4’ x 18mm.

- or - Aluminium sheet 2500mm x 1250mm x 1.5mm (pre-painted). 10 litres white undercoat/primer. 10 litres Black and white outdoor paint (oil or solvent based). 50 no. 10mm Frame fixings. 2 no.10mm SDS masonry drill bits Brushes and rollers White and red vinyl lettering

Technical details

Each of the 14 panels is half a sheet of material (4’ x 4’ or 1250mm x 1250mm). The panel is then primed and painted before the artwork outline is applied, (This step will be unnecessary if pre-painted aluminium is used) this is then masked off and painted in black. Finally the vinyl lettering is applied. Each panel will be predrilled with 4 no. 10mm holes 150mm in from each corner. The panel is fixed to the wall using metal cased 10mm frame fixings. The spacing between panels is 300mm approx’ and 150mm down from the underside of the wall’s capping.

Total using 18mm ply : €702 Total using pre-painted aluminium : €683
